History
Ashlyn was born in 2018 to her Pure-Blood Filipino mother, Annabelle Remario, and her Pure-Blood English father, Harvey Brooke. Her parents met at Hogwarts, having both grown up in the United Kingdom. While in the completely opposite houses, her father a Slytherin and mother a Gryffindor, the two bonded over their love of cooking outside of school by chance, and once out of school, married almost immediately. Practically a year on, and Ashlyn was born, a joy for both parents, who raised the young girl with upmost care. As neither her father nor either grandparents on her father's side were muggles, she was a Pure-Blood girl. Both parents raised her from a young age on how to be self sufficient, as one or the other were almost always at their restaurant in London. By the age of seven, she'd learnt how to operate a oven and cook her own meals. On her eighth birthday, Ashlyn displayed her first sign of magic when she accidentally left the oven on for too long, creating a fire. In her fear, she'd managed to somehow put it out, and later discovered this was by magic. She knew what magic was, as her parents always used it at home, but using it herself was new, and slightly scary, though they were proud of her for being able to do it. Her parents never sent her to a muggle primary school, wanting to self educate her for the wizarding world, and both were ecstatic as she received her Hogwarts letter when she turned eleven. When she went to hogwarts, she was sorted into Hufflepuff, to the chagrin of her parents. They were fine with her being either one of their houses, or even Ravenclaw, but Hufflepuff is rather universally known for being the lame house of Hogwarts. However, after finding out how well she was doing, their attitudes changed completely. She struggled with her O.W.L.S mentally after her mother died in a gas explosion at her family restaurant, but continued on into her sixth year with Potions,Charms,Transfiguration and Herbology. In her N.E.W.T.S she managed to pass all of them, but decided to continue her family legacy. With help from her father money wise, she planned to tour the world to look for flavours, but was enthralled with the variety of food in the United States. While never a fan of History of Magic, she simply adored the History of Muggle America, and came up with her Vintage Restaurant Idea while on a train in Florida. Coming back to the United Kingdom after hearing Lincliff was being developed, she used the funds from her father and from working as a sous-chef in a American Wizarding Diner in California to buy a building not far from Lincliff Square, where she built and painted her pride and joy, The Vintage Jukebox. Nowadays you'll most likely find her inside working as manager though she still sometimes cooks, but when it's closed, and she isn't asleep, she can be found near the coast of Lincliff in the quiet part of the city. She and her business are not yet well known but she hopes they soon will be. 💀💀💀 |

Personality
Ashlyn is headstrong and rather impulsive, making decisions on situations quickly, though often irrationally and without the full facts. She's usually quite a calm, humorous individual, listening to everyone's woes and stories, though when angered is a force to be reckoned with. She can be clumsy when out of her environment, often tripping and breaking things, though while 'in the zone' as she calls it, she's remarkably precise. She's lighthearted and always tries to help, even if it only inconveniences the person she aims to help. She's hopeless with scheduling, preferring to do things in the moment, but begrudgingly makes do with her restaurant's timetable. She has a tendency to babble on about things, and can be seen as a nuisance or odd by people who've never met her before. However, to those she knows, she's an invaluable friend. Ashlyn has a habit of speaking her mind however, usually while joking, which means she can say hurtful words to people. She usually doesn't mean it, but it has cost her a few friendships in the past. Her dark, morbid sense of humour is also an issue for her, often making jokes about things she probably shouldn't joke about. She's got a very good memory, and has been known to quote movies as often as she can, interjecting them into seemingly normal sentences and conversations. While a young business owner, shes proven herself capable of the challenge, offering a strong working environment, proving her critiques and doubters wrong. She has a habit of staying up late, but luckily for her this fits with her business style, only open from lunch time, she spends most of the morning asleep, staying up til the early hours of dawn to enjoy the quiet. Her secret hobby is nightly strolls, where she gets away from the hectic kitchen environment and can enjoy the tranquility of nature. 💀💀💀 |
