Val was just coming home, still not use to being here and not Hogwarts, it was warm though she knew people found this hot. Not her fault she found this nothing to the Italian heat. She hadn't really seen much of her family and hadn't been spending much time with them. "Hello?" She called out as she dumped her bag on the ground.

Donatello had been absolutely miserable since the end of the school year. He had sprained his ankle the day after coming home and had been on house arrest since. You can skate with a broken arm - not with a sprained ankle. Upon hearing Val's call, Donnie hobbled into the main living area. "Sup, Val." He grinned, happy to have some company. "Haven't seen you in a hot minute. Where've you been lately?" He questioned, flopping on the couch.
Val was silent for a moment before shrugging, her eyes dropping onto the daily prophet that was discarded on one of the tables. She'd seen it before she left and, as hard as she tried, couldn't get the contents out of her head. Not that she was going to talk about it with Don. She didn't want him to be worried. She was sure everything was going to turn out okay. Maybe it'll be stopped by the time it really comes into affect. "Here, there, everywhere," she said flippantly with a small grin. "Should I bother asking why you have a sprained ankle? Don't even try to ask me to heal it, it can heal the muggle way. Slow and painful."

Donnie put his hand over his heart in feigned hurt. "Ouch, sis. Drag me, why don't you?" He pouted before glancing to where Val's attention was. The newspaper. Automatically feeling guilty, Donatello flashed her a sympathetic look. "They can't actually do this, can they?" He asked in a small voice.
Val winced when Don caught onto what she was looking at. She didn't want to worry her siblings, especially not Don. She didn't want to lie, nor did she want to sugarcoat it so instead she shrugged. "Seems like they can," she responded, before hesitating to lean over and rustle his hair, "but I'm sure they'll kick him out before they do."

Donnie smiled a bit at his sister's reassurance. She was right. It'll work out. Val will be okay. "Yeah, he's a real D bag. How'd he even get there in the first place?" He asked more rhetorically than anything. "I hope the next Minister is a gay half-breed." Donatello decided, his usual light-hearted grin coming back.
Val laughed at that as she moved into the kitchen for something to eat. "God, I hope so," she said, sounding almost wistful, "maybe Bailey will be pushed back into there. He'd be such a relief to what we have now."
