The love story between Soren Vynter and Xavier Hartt is a beautiful one, which spanned over many years, and came from The black Parade. If you ask Soren about it, he'll say Xavier was the reason it took so long for them to get together. Xavier respectfully disagrees. It was after a particularly dangerous mission, when they realised how precious their lives were, they decided it wasn't worth living if they weren't with each other. When the discussion about having kids came about, Xavier was totally on board. Soren was worried about whether he'd be a good father, but together they decided to go for it. That's what you do when you love someone.
Anyway, the result was Björn. Soren wanted a name that was Scandinavian, in keeping with his roots. Björn was a relatively easy baby to raise, he rarely cried, and ended up only bringing Soren and Xavier together and happier. Life was good, and it has been since. Björn grew up in the Citadel of the Lost, with the black parade. Maybe it wasn't the most conducive environment to raise a child, but they managed. Björn grew up learning about the group's history and activity, as his parents didn't want to have any lies with their precious child. |

Björn is a bit of a wallflower. He's an observer, a listener, a chameleon. He's not terribly outgoing, but from his interactions growing up, he learnt that it was smarter to watch and learn - literally. Björn is very observant, he'll notice shifts in facial expressions, to nervous ticks extremely fast. He doesn't say anything about it unless it's important, but he sees it all. Growing up around the members of the parade, it became clear that he was being eyed to join when he left school. So in order to prepare, his parents taught him the importance of listening before speaking, and how to address one's superiors. This makes him very well spoken and polite.
Like his parents, Björn is quite unpretentious. He's content with what he has and doesn't require much else. He's a hard worker, and he's fiercely loyal.He's quite a dedicated student, he wants to do well, and therefore puts quite a bit of stock into his work. Björn is idealistic, believing firmly in the idea that hard work pays off, and therefore isn't afraid of getting stuck into a task. He's also very good humoured, but also shy - which means a lot of people don't know this about him. As an only child, he's quite lonely often, but he has a close relationship with his parents, so it's not too bad. |
