The Hogwarts Express offers direct service from King's Cross Station to Hogsmeade Station and vice versa at the beginning and end of term and during midterm, Christmas, and Easter breaks. Exact dates will vary slightly from year to year, but they will fall within the range listed.

The School Year
The Hogwarts Express leaves from Platform 9 ¾ of London's King's Cross Station on September 1st at 11:00 a.m. sharp, and returns during the third week of June.
Students have the option of staying at Hogwarts for the winter and spring holidays. Those who choose to stay at the castle do not have lessons. The Christmas holidays are 2 weeks long, starting before Christmas Eve and ending after New Year's Day. The Easter holidays last all Easter week.
