Calloway, or rather Cal, is dedicated to performing and creating music as well as composing pieces of artwork. He prefers tattoo designs rather than traditional art, albeit he does delve into portraits every now and again for those he cares about. Despite his utter obsession with his own tattoos and piercings, which often get odd stares (especially at Hogwarts), he is a very lovely gentleman and has proper moral standing.
He is well versed in languages, cultures and literature and has a soft spot for poetry (he'd never admit it). Often quoting those he aspires to be like, Cal is quite the closed book. He is hard to understand and even more complex to pick apart his layers until he trusts you.
He is generally calm and collected and not afraid to back up any threats that he makes. He can be stoic and tough as nails when he feels like and can pack a nasty punch, figuratively and metaphorically. He has a silver tongue and literally charm his way out of any situation, but he tends to simply stick with telling the truth. He doesn't exactly like lying.
After spending a substantial amount of time on his lonesome, he developed a knack for closing himself off and being rather socially awkward. One thing is certain and that is Cal does not have a clue how to react to those flirting with him. He is completely hopeless. Aside from his cinnamonbun-esque qualities, he is a very inspirational person who loves to serenade people with his powerful voice.
Mary-Ann and John Sullivan were your picture-perfect couple for years, until one day when Mary-Ann announced that she was pregnant with their first child. They already had the name picked out for the baby; Samantha for a girl and Calloway for a boy. Nine months later, the discovered that they were going to be raising a little Calloway. They were absolutely thrilled and moved on in life like one giant, happy family that was too good to be true. Well, that changed drastically after a couple of years.
John and Mary just seemed to drift apart over the years; he stopped taking her out on dates and she stopped their intimacy. It all went downhill from there. John went ahead and had a one night stand, the affair leading to this mistress getting pregnant. When Mary found out, she was absolutely furious. She packed up her and Cal's things and the two took off to live in a small apartment alone. This woman ended up dying during the birth of the baby, leaving only John to look after him. He spent an entire year alone, raising his bastard son. He loved him, but he also missed his other son and wife.
A year passed and Mary-Ann was diagnosed with breast cancer. In her her desperate attempts to mend all things so that if she passed away she wouldn't have any regrets or pain, she got in contact with John and told him. Immediately he was by her side, caring for her in her time of need. He helped to raise the two boys while Mary-Ann underwent treatments. Fortunately, she survived the cancer and was pronounced cancer-free on Calloway's eighth birthday. Thrilled, he showed his first signs of magic.
From then on, Mary and John's relationship seemed to knit itself back together. Once again they were in love and happy. Once again did they go back to their picture perfect normality. Two years ago, Mary-Ann got pregnant and gave birth to two children. John and Mary were once again happy together. Calloway, now sixteen is returning for his sixth year at Hogwarts.
