Astrid is a transfer from Durmstrang and a descendant of Gellert Grindelwald and is currently a . She has a natural affinity for Defense Against the Dark Arts, specifically advanced hexes and curses. She has started to research darker subjects in her free time but mainly is working at bringing back The Potion Club to its former glory. Astrid also has a secret side hustle of dealing powdered dragon's claw to students who need a "brain boost".

Twyla and her twin brother were both born with blood curses which affected them very differently as Felix became terminally ill and Twyla slowly started turning into a beast. Despite the fact that she will one day be unable to change back from her thestral form, Twyla tries to live her life to the fullest through constant fun and pranks, hoping to bring laughter to the halls of Hogwarts. She's an adrenaline junkie with a permanent set of horns and wings and a master at gobstones.

Maeve is the younger sister of the notorious serial killer Melaena Vasilyeva. She was almost drown by Mel when she was three years old before being rescued and adopted by an older couple but has since developed Cotard's syndrome and believes she isn't really alive, having never survived the freezing river that day. Her adoptive mother used to own a tree farm in Ireland that supplied wood to make wands and broomsticks but she has given her journals and research to Maeve in hopes she continues the family business.

Osiris Sayre is a talented young man who excels in nonverbal magic due to the fact that he is entirely mute and doesn't speak. He is the younger secret brother of Hekate Sayre after jumping around in the foster care system. He is still considered orphaned and spends time outside of Hogwarts at the Backpackers Hostel - his schooling entirely funded by the Ministry. His primary form of communication is a magically modified smart phone.
