Being the oldest of five, Charlotte often takes a slight leadership role and as a result of this there are times where she thinks she should be in charge all the time and be listened to. These times, however, are scarce and Charlotte does enjoy taking a weaker role in things.
In general, she's a tad timid and it does take a while for her to warm up to someone, let alone put her trust within them. Despite this, she does emit the aura that she's cheery and a slight joker. If she does warm up to someone, she does become a lot more cheerful and happier. Due to the fact she's happy a lot, there are times where she runs out of energy in which she naturally becomes quieter and takes a back seat.
Because she's never had any real difficulties within her life, Charlotte doesn't really have a set way to deal with negative emotions. When she's sad, she'll cry it out and when she's angry, she'll rant to whoever she's with - regardless if they're friends or not, family or not.
Although she's truthful and caring for the most part, due to her youthful appearance (being called younger than her age) she does know how to get her way if need be. This, however, is hardly ever and she tends not to be proud of it.
History
Charlotte Blake was born on May 3rd to Claire Hollis and Jonathan Blake. A year prior to her birth, her mother had an affair with an Irishman whilst Jonathan fought in Afghanistan. The result of the affair was Cloud Rosendale who was dropped off in Ireland promptly before Jonathan's return. The latter never found out due to the secrecy his wife had.
Through birth Jonathan isn't a Blake, but rather a Cloud. He was born into a wizarding family to a Veela mother and a Pure-Blood father, having four half-veela siblings. Hating it, whilst his siblings enrolled into magical schools, he himself went to muggle ones. All this because of his status of a squib. Due to this his father disowned him and he grew up with his muggle best friend, Christopher Blake. Years later, he met Claire and joined the army, eventually having his children.
Being the first born, Charlotte naturally had a lot of attention. As her siblings kept being born, however, soon the attention was less focused on her. By the birth of her youngest sisters, Phoebe and Daisy, Charlotte was among the ones who received the least attention, being only 6. Despite this, she never complained - knowing that one day she'll get attention again. Although she herself didn't mind the lack of attention, she noticed that her brother Greg, was dealing negatively with the small amount of attention he got and told her parents who eventually began dividing their attention equally. The same year, her father reconciled with his sister, Charlie Cloud. Feeling guilty, he not only realised that they loved him but he also reconnected with his siblings, growing close to them.
Charlotte herself had her first magical encounter when she was 7. It was on a muggle-school trip to which her father was helping out on. During this trip, a group of girls were teasing Charlotte to the point where she broke a few of the laps in the room. Seeing this, Jonathan helped her understand magic and how she came to possess it. There would be words that Charlotte would say to Greg when he had his own first encounter.
When she turned 11, Charlotte received her Hogwarts letter and she was excited, to say the least - as were her parents. Upon arriving, she was sorted into Hufflepuff where she's flourished into the girl she is.
