A woodsy, and welcoming forest of tress leads from the upper pond to the lower pond in the back garden of the Lodge. Tenants, and visitors alike are welcome to walk the sturdy wooden path leading towards the lush gardens of Waterlow Park.
Chrys happeed to be laying down in the grass, staring up at the sky as his mind had him seeing shapes. It was a nice and calming day, one of the few the rainy country would allow. He hummed contently as he heard the pitter patter of feet, but he didn't look up at all.
Hearing the sound of a child whining had him turning his head in the direction. He was surprised to see a familiar mop of hair, but he couldn't place who it was. So instead of guessing he spoke up. "Is she okay?"
He raised an eyebrow at the boys response before sitting up. "You don't need to be so icy. Plus I make own decisions and who I choose to worry about is up to me." He was starting to feel a little guilty due to his own tone and well the memories of the drunken night came back. "Are you Theo's neighbor?"
Chrys bit the inside of his cheek as he looked at the other man, trying to bite back the vile words attempting to break past his lips. "I'm sorry for what happened that night. Believe me, that was the first time I've ever done something like that. I don't usually drink either, I would of probably lost my job if someone else would of seen that." He started walking towards them. "Fyi, I'm not going to harm you so you don't have to be so guarded."
"Hey, I'm not done talking." With that he walked tot he other and placed his hand on the man's shoulder attempting to turn him around. "I don't really remember what happened except That I got punched, so maybe refresh me on what happened?"
Due to the unsteady ground he's on, the punch, although a light one, caused him to lose his balance. Which in turn had him falling backwards, onto a hidden rock. Not even giving him time to register anything before he went unconcious.
"Nap? What?" He blinked his eyes a few more times and sat up. "I don't think I would nap out here." He rubbed his head as he tried to stand up, but he felt kind of dizzy and decided it better to not stand up yet. "What happened?"
"Oh." He waited a few seconds before trying to stand up again, before once again sitting down. "could you help me up? I don't feel so good." His head spinning was making his stomach flip in the bad way. It was making feel nauseated, very much so.
He reached out for Key's hand and helped to pull himself up, his head spinning. "Did I fall?" He let the others hand go before walking towards the building before stopping after a few seconds to ground himself.
He looked back, as he felt like he was going to fall again. "I'm really dizzy. Can you help me up to my brothers apartment?" He crunched his eyes closed after looking at the ground. Whatever the hell had happened must of done a number on him.
After the little freak out he had at the rooftop, Vasi concluded that he's too stressed and thus needed to do something to distract himself, which was how he ended up here with Angelique, who was happily walking ahead of him. Seeing his precious dog so relaxed and happy made him relaxed and happy as well, a smile blooming on his face.
Angelique had immediately took a liking to the new dog that arrived, making Vasi smile wider. At least his precious Angie was enjoying herself and making a new friend. Vasi then walked over to the two dogs, intending to pet the new dog as a greeting, not noticing his owner nearby.
In all honesty, he really shouldn't go around petting random dogs but dogs are just too cute to not be petted. Blood seeped from the puncture wounds on his hand and oh God that's painful. He could feel his eyes sting from the pain as he held his injured hand close, reaching for a handkerchief and wrapping his hand with it. Beside him, Angelique whimpered, as if trying to ask him what's wrong. A string of curses escaped from his mouth as he applied pressure on the wound, watching his handkerchief slowly turn red.
His red face could almost rival Theo's, avoiding the other's eyes and instead focusing on Angelique who was still looking up at him and his newly healed hand. "Err... Thanks... And it's- it's fine. I'm a stranger to him and he must've gotten startled, so I understand." Vasi bent down to Angelique's level and started to scratch her ears as his way of telling her he's ok.
Vasi blinked in surprise at Hodu's sudden protectiveness(?) of Angelique before letting out a small giggle, obviously amused at Hodu's attitude. He moves back a bit and lets Angelique go, poking her on the nose playfully when she whined at the loss. Angelique then switches her attention to Hodu, looking as if she was asking the other dog to play with her.
He chuckled despite himself, looking fondly at the retreating golden labrador. "Yeah, my Angie is a small ball of fluff and purity, who wouldn't like her? I've had her since she was a puppy and she's honestly the most playful, friendly and obedient dog anyone could ask for." Vasi avoided eye contact as well, their last interactions have ended as hot messes and he's not honestly sure what the other thinks of him now.
"Me, fluffy and pure? I don't think so. Glykeria would outright laugh at you if you ever suggest that in front of her face." Vasi replied with a shake of his head. He waved off the incident from earlier with a lighthearted shrug, "I told you, it's fine. Maybe there was something about me that bothered him but I don't blame him. Besides," He waved around his already healed hand. "You healed my hand, so thank you."
Normally, he would be all chill and calm when he's being asked things like that but there was something about Theofanis that may or may not have made the tips of his ears go red. Nonetheless, he answered the query with a smooth, "That's for me to know and for you to find out, since the answer to that question requires friendship level 10 and you don't have the complete requirements." He hummed, "Ah, no wonder. Your hands are was Silas would call the hands of a healer." Vasi noted, nodding at said hands.
"Unfortunately, you're still in the Start Up Guide~" He sing-songed, a tiny snicker following after. Vasi raised an eyebrow at the innuendo, clearly impressed. He walked himself into that one, so points for Theo, he guessed. "Ah, tempting offer but I'm sad to tell you that someone else holds my heart." While he may have delivered that with a nonchalant shrug, he does get a wave of nostalgia and maybe a bit of longing at the reminder.
He blinked, having seen that expression before. Vasi turned away as well, suddenly very interested in a nearby bush. "Nah, I haven't seen him since we were little kids. Made me cry over a book of all things, but that's because it was my favourite book." Vasi lets out a nostalgic chuckle. "Who knows, maybe he found someone else, maybe even married already. As I've said, we were young, he's probably forgotten about me already."
Theo's strange behaviour surprised him, had he said something wrong again? The other guy moved and spoke too fast for Vasi to catch up, leaving him alone standing inthe back garden, wondering what the hell just happened. Two barks snapped him out of his reverie so Vasi went to the direction Angelique and Hodu went to, occasionally looking back to the direction where Theo ran off to, a hint of worry on his face.
