*She was sitting atop a column near the bench Henry had fallen asleep on, she shouldn't have been up there but she liked the height, and the fact that people barely ever looked up there. Hearing Eloise whistling she poked her head out over the ledge.* "Hi!" *She looked down grinning at them both.*

"Who didn't invite me to the party?" *He tucked away his wand as he took count of the familial faces. He didn't want to see any of them, he wanted to blow up one of the grills. Nonetheless he wore the same old irritating smirk.*

*She edged up four fingers, her thumb barely visible, as she waved back at her sister.*

"Are you kidding? If it isn't one of the classes we all take together, one of those places we eat, or this place called home where most of us sleep. . . then the four of us are never in the same place at once. This right here. This is a party."

"Grand Duchy Buzzkill everyone." *He rolled his eyes before locking them square on Eloise.* "He might've disagreed with me, but I'm pretty much always with him." *He gestured to Henry, glancing over at him briefly while he crossed his arms.* "Why should we 'definitely' not have a party?"

"Because people are stupid." *She shook her head rolling onto her back hidden from view although she knew they knew she was there.*

"Thing 1 and Thing 2." *He gestures upwards to Lilah, the downwards at Eloise.* "You don't have to be there. I've got several parties planned all over school. We could probably do something epic here, but why do it at our own place?"

"One of you has got to tell him how dumb he sounds right now." *She popped her head up glaring down at her older brother.* "Finlay. You're not clever. Don't go proving it. Just don't."

"Fine. At the end of the year, we can have a fat Grad party here." *He shrugged rolling his eyes* "Now, here me out. Because of wards or whatever those stupid freaking spells that send teachers running to the perfect latitude and longitude to catch someone doing something fun there should be three different parties at once. One that's safe, for the softies who don't want to get caught, maybe in and old office, or that Empty Classroom where that play was at. Another one in the Dungeons, the Party Hall. Then another secret party in the Shrieking Shack, for the cool kids, like yours truly."

*Satisfied with the chuckled she rolls back over with a grin. She only half listened to the rant tuning her idiot brother out by the time he said Empty Classroom.*

"Thanks for the vote of confidence, brother. No one said you had to be involved. It's my 'oddly intelligent' idea. I want the credit. Good or bad." *He smirked.* "You can be Head Boy and still attended a party. You can go to the safe one, call it 'doing your duty' if you want."

*She tilted her her not quite willing to peer back down at them, again.* "Why does it have to be parties, plural? Why can't you just hang out with a few people you like instead a lot of people you probably don't even know?"

Kimi was sat on the rooftop, trying to meditate slightly and clear her mind, which was nearly impossible. The clearer it went, the more space there was for the negative thoughts to swoop in.

"Oh, hey," she grinned, thankful that she'd stopped crying a few minutes ago as she turned around and saw Kea. "How are you?" she dared to ask, knowing she'd get asked the same in response.

"Yeah, it's great. Free pizza, woo," she laughed, not wanting to mention that she'd completely gone off pizza now...maybe it was the pregnancy or having to see them all day, she didn't know. "Uh, anything else going on in your life right now, beside from work?" she asked casually.

She looked down at her stomach, though it wasn't exactly obviously. But when she opened her mouth something else entirely came out, "Not really, no. Just enjoying life as being young and single I suppose," she grinned. Oh my God, that just sounds obviously like a lie, Kimi!

"Well, I mean, yeah," she said, continuing to try to grin, but her ability to do that had got weaker recently. "Well, I guess maybe not enjoying life...or being single...or anything really," she admitted slowly, looking down.

"I've been...doing lots of stupid things," she said, obviously full of regret. She couldn't even meet Kea's eyes and didn't seem at all like herself anymore. "I just...I can't handle this feeling, and...getting drunk and...doing dumb things seems to make me feel better...at the time anyway, not afterwards obviously."

She nodded slowly, looking mostly at the ground. "Yeah...I...I'm pregnant," she said, tears bursting out as soon as she'd said the word.
