Clock Tower Courtyard

The Clock Tower Courtyard is a cloister at the base of the Clock Tower at Hogwarts. This cloister seems to be one of the older parts of the castle, and the ceilings and walls are dilapidated. From the Clock Tower Entrance, the other end leads to the Covered Bridge, which in turn leads to the Gamekeeper's Hut, Stone Circle and The Forbidden Forest.

As it sits on top of a hill, it is level with the third floor. In the center of the courtyard is a fountain with statues around it. Plants and vines grow on some parts of the flooring and walls.

RK and Wiccan

Wiccan le Fay - Sixth Year Gryffindor -tongue of fire and iron・let's play truth or dare then i'll dare you to leave Message Me – 16:24, July 6, 2019 (UTC) So now I'm being punished? Wiccan yells in his mind. The universe is apparently not aligning with him for two days in a row. Yesterday, he dealt with being tripped, soaking in the rain, nearly catching a cold, and spending a restless night with steam billowing from his ears. And now, his white sleeves are stained with his blood. His badly crooked nose is not helping him look any better either. Exasperated curses break the courtyard's silence. His loud mouth would've caused him trouble if a professor arrived at the scene but thankfully, the fountain's gurgling water is doing a good job muffling it. Wiccan sits by the edge of the fountain, trying to get his bearings. And for every drop of blood that drips from his nostrils, he wipes it away with his already bloody sleeve.

RK had just come out of class and he wanted to get some air in the courtyard before heading to the Great Hall for lunch. There, he happened upon Wiccan, with his bloody sleeves and his bloody nose and he immediately rushed to his fellow Gryffindor's side. "Bloody hell man, what happened to you?" He asked, concern written across his face.

He flashes a scowl at the other. For the record, his glare only made him adorable, given his childish features and small stature. "Very punny," he remarks as he pulls out his wand from his robe and points to his nose. "Remember that Slytherin I hexed yesterday? Well, I ran into his friend in Magical Creatures class. Good chap gave me a good punch right in the nose bridge," he narrated. Without any hesitation, he casts Episkey. There is a sickening crunch, accompanied by Wiccan's curses. The last drops of blood gushed forth like a big sneeze, splattering on the floor. "Well, that went swell," he shrugs.

"I wasn't trying to be punny," he said with a slight frown, but shook it off immediately to focus on the bloody predicament in front of him. RK winced as he heard the crunching sounds of Wiccan's nose being mended by 'Episkey' — after all, he was familiar with the feeling since he had a rather clumsy streak back when he was younger. "I hate bullies. You should report this to a teacher, y'know? I'll even go with you," he offered.

"Report this? To a teacher? Definitely punny," he scoffs. He's not keen on the thought of involving adults, much more teachers, in his affairs. The last time that happened, he got neglected big time. Besides, Merlin knows what would happen if the teachers actually knew about the situation. Heck, it may even cost his house some points. "No thanks," he replies to RK. "I'm gonna take things into my own hands and get back at those bloody gits tonight." The Gryffindor rises and hides his wand, not minding the mess he's made all over himself. "They'd better prepare," he mutters under his breath, cracking his knuckles as if he's preparing to punch the next student who's going to pass by the courtyard.

RK felt rather morose when Wiccan shot his idea down — he really thought reporting the incidents to a teacher would be the best step moving forward. But, he wasn't going to abandon the other boy just because they didn't agree with him. "Well obviously, you're going to need help with that, so I'm coming with you," he declared. "And don't take this as me underestimating you, I'm sure you've got a couple of tricks up your sleeve, but I imagine your odds would be better if you have someone assisting you."

"Now, we're talking," he remarks. "That's the RK Townsend that everyone's talking about." They haven't had any actual interaction ever until last night and today. But nonetheless, Wiccan knows the other as a frequent rule-breaker. He usually doesn't bring along other people in his schemes out of distrust, particularly because he believes people are tattletales and will rat him out eventually. But for now, he'll gauge just how troublesome the other kid is. "And you underestimating me? Pffft, I ain't taking any of that," he says. He then sits down again beside RK, "Let's just get this over with and plan the whole thing. Wouldn't want to hear another sickening sound of a breaking nose, would you?"

RK was well aware of his reputation as a troublemaker, but most of his rule-breaking only involved staying up and roaming the halls past curfew, and several harmless pranks. He didn't want Wiccan to have the idea that he was someone who'd intentionally hurt other people just because. But then again, he also hated bullies with a burning passion, so he'd be treating this one as an exception, since he believed that the jerks who hurt Wiccan deserve what's coming to them. "I don't really know what everyone else is saying about me, but for the record, I don't usually go around hurting other people. This is going to be an exception, only because I hate bullies, and what they did to you thus far is not acceptable. So, I just thought I'd be clear about that before we start," he explained.

Then again, people have a knack for distorting stories. Can't blame you for not knowing what everyone's saying about you though. I mean, this is like Muggle secondary school. Kids eat gossip for lunch. Anyways..." He wipes the last smears of blood around his nose with his sleeve and fixes his uniform. He wouldn't want people seeing his mess. "This time, we're not punching or hexing anyone," he explains in a soft voice, "Both of those didn't end well so what're we gonna do is a bit more... inconspicuous." To prove his point, he whips out a small pack from his pocket and shows it to RK. "Familiar with Belch Powder?" he asks.

Belch Powder? That would cause an insane amount of burping to anyone who consumes it, which in RK's standards, would be on the lighter end of the 'hurting others' spectrum, so he was definitely down with that. Unless, Wiccan had something else in mind. "Yup, I'm familiar with that. I'm guessing you got that at Zonko's or something?"

Fortunately, nobody stole it. Merlin knows what could've happened if I consumed it unwittingly." He brings the small package closer to his squinting eyes, scanning its written contents. "It says here that it's tasteless. The drink will just taste the same as, I don't know, orange juice or whatever the house elves are serving at tonight's dinner," he explains. Deep inside, Wiccan can feel the excitement of their simple yet nasty plan. He can already hear his bullies belch madly.
