Model and Image Policy
- A user can have up to twenty-five models/face claims that we do not require them to share. If they go over twenty-five face claims, then they must put down the excess face claims on the appropriate page in order to let people know they are available to be shared. If a user wishes to share the face claim, then they must let the original user know (whether through private messaging or OWLs) that they intend to use the model/face claim.
- Three users maximum can share the same model. There can be more than three characters with the same face claim, but three users only.
- If a user leaves or removes the character from the User Model Registration (UMR) page, then the second user that was sharing the model has ‘ownership’ of that model. Only exception is if there was some prior arrangement, but that is at the user’s discretion.
- We ask that you note the model’s ethnicity and that you stay true to this. We don’t endorse any types of white washing on this site. We also recommend you do the proper amount of research in order to not be insensitive in your representation of them (this includes disabilities, LGBT+ etc.).
- Any model who has passed away cannot be used. If you use a model who passes away during their time as a model, then you must change the model or retire the character. If you do not, or refuse to do so, we will place your character under lockdown and you will receive a warning. You may be blocked if you continue to roleplay with them. This goes for any character placed under lockdown for whatever reason.
- Except for the Golden Trio (Harry/Ron/Hermione), models who have been in any of the films can be used as face claims. You just cannot use the content (whether it be gifs, images, videos) from the films. For example, you may use Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen’s content but cannot use Cedric Diggory’s content.
- You cannot use political face claims (both politicians and royals) even if they did outside work. If a face claim begins their work as a politician / marries a royal when they are being used, the user is required to change the face claim.
- There is no time limit to reserved models but you can only have five at a time. If you go beyond five, we will ask you to remove one or we will do it for you.
- If a person states they don’t wish to be a face-claim, then we require you to respect that and don’t use them.
- Whilst we allow cartoon characters and anime based characters, please don't use animal or anthropomorphic characters (such as the fox from Zootopia). If you have a werewolf or animagus and want to demonstrate their animal form, this would be an exception.
- If you use a person in your life as a face claim, we require you to give us proof they gave you permission. For example, if you want to use your mother as a face-claim then you must provide some sort of evidence she said yes. We recommend you don’t use someone you know personally.
- We do not allow adult film stars as face-claims, even if you use ‘safe’ images. We have minors who might look up their name and find their adult content.
- Furthermore, we do not allow explicit images to be uploaded. If we find an image may be too explicit then we will remove it. Wikia has its own bot to scour for these images but it tends to miss a lot.
