	Appearance Eye Color Brown Hair Color Dark Brown Height 5'3" Style Formal, elegant Faceclaim Katie Douglas Like all the le Feys before her, Elayne has dark hair that she cannot imagine ever cutting. She is too attached to it and considers it her favorite part of her appearance, especially given that she finds the rest of herself rather plain. She has big, dark brown eyes and her doe-eyed appearance tends to make enemies underestimate her. The summer before fifth year, Elayne became a lot more physically fit as the result of subjecting herself to rigorous training in the Citadel, and as a result has a rather athletic build.

History

Elayne is second youngest child of Dunstan le Fey and Giovanni Belfrey, following Tristan, Iseult, and Guinevere. Ever since she was young, she had shown great displays of magic, most notably in the form of receiving visions. As a seer, her first incident of magic happened when she was five years old – she had seen one of Tristan's snakes eat one of her pet toads in a nightmare, and in a fit, vanished the snake off to a zoo. Seeing the potential for her powers with the Sight to grow, her aunt and leader of the Black Parade, Sabrina le Fey advised her brother to send his daughter to Île de Sein off Pointe du Raz, Finistère, where she would be trained by the Gallizenae, a group of virgin priestesses. She was only nine years old when she left her family.

After training under the Gallizenae for five years (never being allowed to visit home), she was finally allowed to return to her family at fourteen-years-old. Her powers as a seer were greatly enhanced, and she is capable of making powerful predictions even at a very young age. Her skills in Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures also drastically improved, having lived on the island for half a decade.

Much to her joy, she was told that she could transfer to Hogwarts to be with her siblings Iseult and Tristan during their final year. Having reunited with her family and her best friend, Bjorn Vynter-Hartt, she quickly realized that though her seer skills were great, she still had much to learn when it came to physical combat, espionage, and other abilities that might come in handy as a member of the Parade. Her time on the island also proved to have caused quite a big dent in her ability to interact with other teenagers her age; after being the only one her age for so long, Elayne developed slight social anxiety that manifests in a stutter when she's in situations she finds uncomfortable.

Determined to be of proper use to the Parade, Elayne spent majority of the summer before her fifth year training at the Citadel nonstop, challenging anyone she could to the point that practically all the Paraders know who she is. She is certain that the Parade is her destiny and that she should dedicate her life to her family, and under Tristan and Iseult's guidance she has truly become a force to be reckoned with. Currently, she is a fifth year Hufflepuff and slowly beginning to question what she's even doing in school. No matter – at least it gives her more time to spend time with Sarai, who she's been pining after since the end of her fourth year.

		Personality (+): sweet, perceptive, determined (-): judgmental, self-deprecating, loyal to a fault The first thing anyone must know about Elayne is that she is loyal to a fault, and that she loves her family more than anything in the world. She is fiercely dedicated to serving the Parade, and can perhaps get tunnel vision in that regard. She is wholly willing to sacrifice her own personal wants and ambitions because she believes that she has a greater purpose as a part of the organization. This passion is a bit surprising considering how quiet Elayne tends to be, but she has been slowly coming out of her shell as of late and will always speak her mind especially if she believes that the Parade or her loved ones in general will benefit from it. She tends to make decisions rashly, a trait that seems to be shared by all the le Feys. She does first, and thinks later. To her, there is no mess too big for her family to clean up and she is certain that the ends justify the means most of the time anyway. To her credit, Elayne is arguably the sweetest le Fey sibling (save for Gwen) and she is generally nice to those who have not wronged her in any way or wronged her family. She is friendly and smiles a lot; she is the last person anyone would imagine dreams of maybe one day becoming an infamous criminal. She used to be a lot more frustrated at how much she is underestimated but is beginning to understand its advantage.
