Dorthy and Victor met almost like a fairytale. Victor was an officer at the time in Paris where little miss Dorthy had gotten into some trouble. She had watched as two seemingly homeless children - most likely brothers - had been staring at a local food cart. The owner of the stand refused to give the children any charity and when Dorthy presented foreign money, the lady refused to let her pay for any of it. Frustrated, Dorthy snatched up a basket of fruits and some baked goods and gave it to the children. They ran off, leaving Dorthy to face the authorities that the woman had called after. In walks Victor who was absolutely smitten. It was love at first sight.
After paying the owner of the stand out of his own pocket, Victor asked Dorthy if he could see her again. She only feigned disinterest for a moment before readily agreeing. And so they went on a date, and then another, and another - and the rest is history. But it's a history we're going though so come on. Dorthy moved to Paris the year they were dating so they could more seriously date. The year after that, Victor proposed. It was then that Dorthy told him about her being a witch. She didn't want to marry him without him knowing the real her even if it meant losing him. But that didn't change anything. Victor was in love with her. She was always magical to him.
Another few years pass and the Agrestes move from Paris back to Victor's hometown of Orleans, the couple had news of a baby. That's where little Estelle comes in. She was her parents whole world. The amount of love in the family was astounding. Stella grew up being loved more than any child ever could. But love doesn't protect people from death. At age four, Stella was staying with her Grandma Peggy while her parents were gone for a short holiday. She was so young, but she'll never forget the look on her grandma's face when the call came. Victor and Dorthy were killed in shootout. Victor wasn't even on duty. They were mere bystanders. Innocents that just happened to be in the way... in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Dorthy didn't really have family and for Victor, he only had his mom. Grandma Peggy was the only person Stella had left. They remained in Orleans where a family of wizards had known Dorthy. They knew Stella would need someone to look after her if she was like her mother. They made sure she still felt comfortable after her first magical experience at age seven. The young girl had caused their living room furniture to float after an intense game of the floor is lava. They stepped in again when it was time for her to attend a wizarding school too. That's when Estelle went to Beauxbatons.
Stella was sorted into Papillonlisse where she made a few friends, but none that really stuck with her. In her third year, she learned about aurors more than just hearing the name. When she likened them to muggle police, she immediately made that her goal. She wanted to be like her dad and bold like her mother. Stella began taking classes seriously and even joined a dueling club. She got her arse kicked most of the time, but she kept working at it. She never gave up. Eventually, she was top of her class and graduated Beauxbatons with flying colors.
She was eighteen when Grandma Peggy got sick. Her grandma was in the hospital for only three weeks before they lost her. Stella was heartbroken. Peggy was the last person she had. Now, she was all alone. Unable to bear living where she lost everyone closest to her, Estelle volleyed for a fresh start. She moved to Lincliff and began training to become an auror. She has a lot to learn, but she's determined to get there and be a hero her parents and grandmother would be proud of.
