Eugenie "Nie" was born to two German pure-blood parents, Joachim and Elsa Neuer on August 11, 1999, being their second child out of six. Elsa was the only daughter of a prominent pure-blood businessman, and married to Joachim, the only son of a prominent Ministry worker. They were married at the age of eighteen, right after they graduated from Beauxbatons and EESM, respectively. Their first child, Lilly, was born only ten months after their marriage. Then came the twins Eugenie and Engel, Nie being the elder one. Joachim was pleased he had finally acquired a son, and as Eugenie and Engel were metamorphmagi, it became clear that the twins were their father's favorite. Emelia was next, and then came the youngest, Anika. The Neuer family grew up in Bavaria, Germany, where Joachim Neuer schemed to make himself one of the most influential politicians in Germany. When Nie was four years old, the family began taking in foster kids. None of them stayed longer than at least two years, and Engel made friends with many of them - Nie did too but always preferred their brother. Joachim Neuer wanted his children to follow in his footsteps. To toughen them up, he sent his children to EESM. When Nie arrived, they were sorted into Vorobyov, while their brother became a Boyanova. Nie was proud to be in the house their mother would have been in if she had gone to school there, although they were disappointed to not be in their father's house. Nie became friends with a lot of people like them; Celaena Sardothien and her friends, and they had a clique together of assassins-to-be as they saw it. Nie, like Engel, was, by their seventh year, an assassin - since the beginning of their sixth year, they worked together occasionally but were mostly independent. They were a close contact of his since he moved to England at the age of 20 - and now they, three years later, have moved to England to be with him so they could assist him with his plans they had been making for years - and now having a British citizenship, can finally do that officially by joining the Ministry. Their path has lead somewhere different than to where they had expected.
personality
Nie is deeply arrogant and ambitious, that could easily be the motto of their twin brother and themselves. Their relationship with their brother is very much a powerful one, they find so much similarity and solace in one another that there is hardly a person that means more to, or knows more about one another. Nie, very much like their brother, is bright and wants to make the most of their life, even if that means bordering on or teetering over the balance of what is morally acceptable. They can be, as you might say it, 'ballsy' and blunt towards other people if they feels underestimated, annoyed or challenged. If there is something Nie has a hold on, it is who they are. If somebody is standing between them and what they want, they're unafraid to knock them aside and seize it with both hands, which can sometimes make them an accidental - or maybe not so accidental - backstabber. They want to lead on rather than be restrained, and is brave and never afraid to say what they think. As long as they are in control of what is going on, or at least believes that they are, things may well run smoothly. With a lust for money and power going on, a certain degree of wit and intelligence is needed, as well as that pride that comes within both Neuer twins.
