Lukas was born and raised in Dussledörf, Germany. His father is Pietro Schröder, an educator from Durmstrang, and his mother is Anja Schmidt Schröder, a pureblood witch who finished her education in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He grew up in quite a large family, with his siblings Finn, Christine, Wolfgang, Lauren, his grandparents Erik and Anita, and other relatives all living in one big house. He is the third-born in his family, and the second son, so he's not really used to getting much attention to himself, being a middle child. His parents were too busy with either being proud of their first two children for their achievements, or reprimanding their younger ones for their childish behaviour. That is why Lukas was more close to his grandparents, Erik and Anita, and they were also the ones who taught him everything he knows about Quidditch. His grandfather was a former player for the National Team and his grandmother taught Flying in Beauxbatons before, and so at a very young age, Lukas grew familiar with the sport.
Because of his father's job and connection to Durmstrang, he also went to school there, along with the rest of his siblings. He did not shine that much academically, but he didn't get failing grades either. He was an okay student overall. Besides, the thing he really shone in was Quidditch, and he played all throughout his years in Durmstrang.
After graduating, he worked as an employee in a broomsticks shop in Germany before being invited by one of his friends to join a local Quidditch Club. He played as a Chaser and throughout the years, he developed his skills more, and became even better. He eventually got in a team and played in one of the big leagues in Germany, managing to help his team win plenty of titles during his tenure as their Chaser. After that, he permanently quit his job at the broomsticks store and made money playing Quidditch.
Around six years after the start of his Quidditch Career in Germany, when he was 24, his grandfather died from old age, and Lukas was very distraught. He quit for a while, and just stayed at home to take care of his grandmother and think about things. He got his job back at the broomsticks store and forgot about Quidditch.
Two years after that, his former team got in the finals of the league, but lost one of their Chasers to an accident. His teammates immediately went looking for him, asking him to fill-in. He initially refused, but after his grandmother talked to him, and told him that his grandpa Erik would've wanted him to do it, he decided to go for it and got back on the team. He was out of practice, yes, but his natural talent came through and he scored a lot of points, leading his team to victory.
After that, he got back to playing in the professional league full time and started becoming a bit well-known among German Quidditch fans.
Two years later, Lukas, at age 28, was officially scouted and was invited to be part of the German National Team who will compete in the 2030 Quidditch World Cup.
