Dana Alekseyevna Ukhtomskaia is the first and only child of the entitled Russian purebloods Aleksey Ukhtomskii and Yekaterina Ukhtomskaia. Both of the girl's parents were blood supremacists, and as pureblooded as any of the British 'Sacred 28'. Growing up with the ability of clairvoyance, she was spoiled mercilessly - after all, clairvoyance was just more magic. And magic was what her parents loved most.
As a child, Dana was never particularly adept at concealing her magic, or her clairvoyant abilities. Often, she would blurt out where a piece of silverware had been, or the intentions of a family visitor. Naturally, this caused a little discomfort among a few of the family's guests, though not nearly as much upheaval as it would have had the people she'd been reading been muggles. And it merely endeared her more to her parents.
At the age of eleven, Dana was sent to Durmstrang for her schooling, where she met Andrea Braginskaya, a fellow Russian girl. The two were fast friends and Andrea soon introduced Dana to muggle culture and entertainment - which Dana loved, contrary to her upbringing. Throughout their six years at Durmstrang, the two became serious fangirls of pretty much everything you can fangirl about.
In seventh year, a select few Durmstrang students were sent to Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tournament, Dana among them. Eventually, Dana was chosen by the goblet as the Durmstrang female champion, and Alexei Kirov was chosen as the Durmstrang male one. As for the others, Beauxbatons had Renée Delacroix and Duval Beaulieu, and Hogwarts chose Emerald Daniels and Wesley Parks.
By the end of the tournament, Beauxbatons had won, Durmstrang had come second, and Hogwarts had lost, an outcome that Dana was rather proud of - Beauxbatons had been the best from the beginning, and Durmstrang had still beaten Hogwarts.
Upon graduation, Dana and Andrea moved in together in an apartment in Magus Diaetam, and Dana secured herself a job in La Lune Bleue, before moving up through an array of different ones until she became the Russian Representative in the ICW. Soon after this, she was sought out by Sabrina Le Fey to join the Black Parade, and did so, quitting her job as representative.
