Delfina is spunky, that's really the best way to describe her. She loves to be out and about and meet people and talk to others, always putting herself out there and making herself known to the world. Delfina wouldn't be caught dead stuck in her house all day without human interaction, who would want that?. Delfina is the embodiment of extrovert, always talking to others and having a bubbly attitude and getting herself into trouble because of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
While Delfina is extroverted to the highest extent imaginable, she knows how to keep herself in check and not make others feel awkward around her. She can tone herself down and be mature and ladylike when she needs too, and really only shows her true self to her closest friends and family. Delfina learned how to balance out her wild emotions from a young age, and many people think she's quiet and introverted when that isn't the case.
Delfina loves people, and she loves talking to people and getting to know them. She is a people person by all means, and can seem to connect with just about anyone. She's kind, sweet, nice, gentle, understanding, empathetic. Yet, something important to know about Delfina is she is no push-over and will not bend over backwards for someone who doesn't deserve it. Delfina believes a woman can be strong and independent without needing to push others down, or be like men. Who wants to be exactly like someone else? That's no way to live life, and her mind she's perfectly happy being the best version of herself she can be.
History
Delfina was born in Havana, Cuba, to two parents of pure-blood heritage and a three year old older brother. Delfina was the cutest little baby girl, soaking up attention and being a bubbly little ball of sunshine. She was raised in a middle-class family as her mother was a stay-at-home mother while her dad worked as a contractor with his own business in muggle Cuba. Since there weren't many Cuban wizards Delfina wasn't raised around many magical kids, usually traveling to Florida to spend time during the summers with her mother's family and her cousins.
Delfina grew up in a happy, normal, functioning home with loving parents and happy siblings. When her younger 3 siblings were born it brought more joy into the lives of their family then anyone could have thought. One of the few times were Delfina was actually distraught was when Matías left for Castelobruxo when Delfina was 8 and her magic manisfested. She cried when he was leaving, and her magic made it so his shoes were glued to the ground preventing him from leaving. It was quite a predicament as their parents had to un-glue his shoes and then proceed to call some oblivators to deal with anyone seeing.
It wasn't long before Delfina went off to Castelobruxo as well, joining her brother happily and thriving in the school setting. She joined the Quidditch team when she was 13 as a chaser and loved it immensely, keeping up on her studies as well. She was nothing short from a star student, and graduated with the highest marks she could get. Her parents were extremely proud of her, and while her brother might have been the oldest she might just have been the favorite. She even got a new broom after graduation because of her extremely good grades.
After graduation she worked with her father, it was tough work since she wasn't used to all the manual labor and a lot of the men didn't exactly treat her with the best respect. She was an educated woman and many of the men thought she didn't belong there. She made sure to show to them that she did, putting forth all her effort to hold up against them as best as she could. It was a great learning experience for her.
When she turned 21 she decided to use the money she had saved up and move to England to start a new life, getting a small apartment and finding a job selling her own potions and healing products at Floo Market. She's been wanting to get a job working somewhere in the ministry possibly, but she doesn't know if that'll work out or not. While she is 25, she hopes that maybe things will work out soon in her career as well as in her love life.
