Persona
Currently, Estelle is a very complicated young woman, as she's currently suffering from her depression. As a result, her personality has turned for the worse, and she has become very unimpressionable and cold. She prefers to isolate herself, rather dedicating herself to art than human interaction. She is rather wary of anyone who approaches her, because besides Richard, most of the time, people approach her for her status and nothing else. She is very fearful of being abandoned, since she felt lonely as a child, and her ruined reputation blew up in her face in fourth year. As a result, her interest in socializing is next to nonexistent.

Estelle can often come as snarky and bitter and is highly aware. Her bluntness meets no ends and she doesn't like to dance around the bush. As straightforward as she is, she finds being directly addressed about something awkward and would rather solve problems by avoiding the people apart of it. She solves many of her problems simply by avoiding them or ignoring them, decisively believing that if she leaves the problems where they are long enough, they'll dissolve on their own. Naturally, it's a horrible way of thinking but with nothing else to resort to, this is the frame of mind she often finds herself in. Alongside that, Estelle is heavily pessimistic, or how she puts it, "A Strong Realist".

Aside from her attitude in public, Estelle is a very passionate person with millions of dreams. She's very invested in her artwork, and even considers it her life at times, with her canvas being the only thing she can confess to. She is also interested in dancing, but does this in private and is very shy about discussing her skills in dance, opposed to her vibrant love of art. She is very sensitive to judgement from others and whether she admits or not, cares much about others opinions, even if they really don't mean that much. With no one she personally feels she can rely on, she often finds herself in the grasps of her own head, wondering if she'll ever feel happiness again.

During the reign of William III & Mary II in 1692 the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy was signed, separating the lives of the magical and the muggles. The reign of the muggle royal family over the magical population of Britain - and later the United Kindgom - was largely undisturbed; both British societies observed the same monarch until the pure-blooded of the magical society began demanding detachment. From what started as being general discontent grew into violent actions with a magical civil war approaching over the horizon. In a stroke of luck that avoided turmoil, the ruling King George III had a magical daughter hidden from the muggle society. This daughter, Princess Charlotte, was quickly installed as the monarch of the magical society of Britain - an act which finally separated the two.

The arrangement worked out perfectly for both societies; whilst both monarchies were separate, the two worked closely to ensure similar values were shared and upheld. When the muggle monarchy changed their house name to Windsor, the magical monarchy followed suit. Everything was harmonious until the ascension of King Henry II. A monarch who wanted to devolve the power of the Ministry itself, Henry became tyrannous early on in his reign. Turmoil that threatened to overthrow the monarchy rose again, saved only by the forced abdication of Henry and the replacement by his eldest daughter, Victoria.

Proving to be the saving grace of House Windsor, Queen Victoria remedied her father's mistakes. She appealed to all crowds of magical life; advocating for no discrimination for species, being proud enough of her pure-blooded heritage to satisfy those who cared whilst remaining completely relatable for all. Her reign, still going strong, has remained among the most harmonious and popular since the magical monarchy's establishment.

Viviene was Victoria's third child, and one of the most rebellious of them all, if she should be called that. Known for her scandalous nature, Viviene often came into the spotlight when the royal family was mentioned, especially when she refused to attend Hogwarts on the count of desiring to be different. She was somewhat of a fascination to the public. You either loved her to death or hated her just as much. Of course, her youngest child and daughter seemed to share that trait as well.

Henry, Estelle's father, was a budding reporter who often took Viviene's photo. The young princess noticed him and asked him on a date, and you can guess what happened next. Henry, being a pureblood, was accepted quite easily into the royal society. After their marriage and Viviene's first pregnancy, Viviene began settling down and retiring her partying days to raise her children. She gave birth to a son and two daughters, of which she named Octavius, Sophia, and Estelle. Estelle was the youngest, separated from her siblings by six years.

As the youngest child in the household, Estelle often felt quite isolated from her siblings, as they were so much older than her and closer than she was to them. In response to that, she spent a good majority of her childhood alone, since she was home schooled. She kept to herself and her own business, appearing by far the most well-mannered and polite of the family for most of her childhood years. It was during this time that she discovered her interest in art, finding herself staring at portraits and art pieces around the estate.

Her prowess in drawing was obvious, as servants often found her sketches on napkins and random pieces of paper strewn around the estate as they cleaned. She was given paints, paintbrushes, and an easel on her ninth birthday, and by the same time next year, her room was covered in her own portraits. Often absorbed in her own world, she was known for being much of a daydreamer and never really lived in the present. This changed when she went to Hogwarts.

Estelle's first magical incident happened when she was seven, a rather young age. She was staring at the doors to the balcony, wondering what a vase decorated in feathers would look like. Suddenly, the vase besides the glass doors began to vibrate before transforming into a raven. Surprised, Estelle screamed and hid under the covers of her bed as the confused raven swooped around her room, looking for an exit. Having been alerted by her scream, a servant came running into her room to see what was wrong and allowed the raven to fly out.

This quite easily predicted her affinity for Transfigurations. Despite her curiosity of Beauxbatons, she eventually decided she wanted to go to Hogwarts. Due to her self-isolation when she was little, Estelle found it difficult to find friends at first. Since Richard was the only person related to her in her year, she found herself trailing him around. But by the middle of the year, her hidden charisma shown through and she found herself becoming incredibly popular by the end of the year.

Estelle spent her first three years at Hogwarts flooded with attention, a stark contrast to her childhood where she felt incredibly lonely. Due to this, she developed a fear of becoming alone, unwilling to go back to how she used to live. In the light of this, she began to become somewhat of an attention seeker, doing anything to keep the attention on her. She was often called an attention whore by jealous persons and eventually this leaked to the media, ruining her fourth year.

In fourth year, Estelle was nicknamed an attention whore, making her lose much of her credibility for almost about anything. Many brushed her off, and she lost many friends quickly due to her habit of over exaggerating things. Despite wanting to avoid this, she had simply brought it to her unknowingly. Facing the threat of isolation again, Estelle participated in a number of scandals to get more attention. At first, the plan worked, but in the end it simply tarnished her reputation and made more people dislike her. By the middle of fourth year, Estelle had fallen into a depression, and eventually the fear of isolation consumed her, causing her to isolate herself again.

For the rest of the year, Estelle kept to herself and avoided any royal duties or events that she could. She refused to read newspapers or look at media, returning to investing herself in her art to comfort herself. She had drastically improved in her skill, even investing her emotions into her paintings. Besides her art and Transfigurations, Estelle found everything else dull and went through her days mindlessly. Her behavior was picked up easily as depression and she was assigned a therapist to help her by the end of the summer in between her fourth and fifth year.

Currently she is attending Hogwarts as a fifth year, and is struggling to recover from her depression despite the assignment of her therapist.
