About Jaylyn...
Jaylyn Belmont is the Special Operations Co-Head for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement in the Ministry of Magic.
Jaylyn grew up with only her mother, Harriet Gaye. She was a muggle, who'd been seduced by a wizard (who then proceeded to run off and never return). The exchange left Harriet pregnant with a child with magical blood.
Jaylyn grew up without knowing about magic, when she turned 11 and the magical world was presented to her, it was dazzling. She attended Hogwarts where she was sorted into Gryffindor House. She was a good student (besides her constant sarcasm and arguments). When she graduated she immediately went to work for the Ministry of Magic.
She got a job as an Auror. She held the position as Head. She met her husband, Finnick Belmont, through her work and they currently are Co-Heads for Special Operations.
