「 Benji Jeon 」Hufflepuff Alumni • Aspiring Minister of Magic
With Benji now having officially graduated from Hogwarts, his parents decided to throw a little get together for him (and Chanelle) in order to celebrate their graduation. There was a lot of food that had been prepared and quite a few guests had come in and out through the day. Luckily things were beginning to wined down with just a few guests still inside the house, which meant Benji and Chanelle could sneak off and spend more time just the two of them. Having taken Chanelle out to the garden with beautiful rose bushes and tall hedges that offered some privacy, the pair were sat on the bench fingers somewhat intertwined as they just sat together.

Chanelle had been over the moon when she had been told about the party. She hadn't expected any big celebration to happen (even if the Jeon's had intended for it to be small, she still considered it big) and was smiley the entire night. With her energy knowing no boundaries at the best of times, being showered in praises and being a centre of attention only fuelled her on. Perhaps that was what was infectious about Chanelle; how happy and energetic she could be yet still being a little humble. Having been brought out to the garden that she always loved being in, she smiled as they sat down. "I think I might audition for one of those entertainment companies, y'know?" She said with a little smile and a content sigh, "See how far I go..."

As they had previously been sitting in silence, Benji perked up when Chanelle mentioned considering auditioning for an entertainment company. Immediately enthralled by the conversation starter as it was something Chanelle had only briefly mentioned before. "Did you have one in mind?" He asked, stroking his thumb comfortingly against Chanelle's hand. "I think you'd do really well, I'm sure anywhere you audition would happily accept you. And I'd love to come and cheer you on as well."

Chanelle shrugged, shaking her head. She smiled at the comforting motion of Benji's thumb on her palm. "I haven't... Dad says Silencio or Reducto seem to be good ones but I'm not sure..." She glanced at Benji, tilting her head slightly, "You don't suppose your dad would have any recommendations? Surely he's seen enough performances to at least suggest a good one?"

Benji was sat silent for the duration of Chanelle explaining the situation, listening intently. "I think your dad asked my dad which company already then because when I talked to him he told me about Silencio and Reducto too. When I was asking him about it I think he thought I was changing my career plans from ministry to singer though, that was until I told him it was for you."

Chanelle listened along, nodding here and there. "Oh..." She bit her lip as she went silent for a few seconds. "So those two are the best? I'll have to see if I can get an audition..."

"I think so, just based on what I've heard..." He said, looking over at Chanelle before pulling her in for a hug. "I'm sure you'll get an audition, and after the audition I'm sure you'll get a call saying you were accepted."

Chanelle happily let herself be pulled into a hug, hugging Benji back. "You think? You're very optimistic," She said with a laugh. "Just like you with the Ministry!"

"Of course I'm sure," he started as the hug came to an end and he pulled away. "Someone as talented as you? You're a shoe in to be accepted, and if you aren't our dads have enough money they could just build a company."
