The past few months in England have been a blessing for Vivian and she was doing a lot better. Don't get her wrong-she wasn't shy or timid when she first came back from Russia. Yet, she'd lost that childhood innocence that she once had. That childhood curiosity. But that was the passage of growing up, right? "Is it true people sing with frogs?" She asked as she looked at all the options to buy. Viv wasn't going to buy anything, none of them looked enticing to her, but she still liked to look at all the colours. Then again, she might buy some of the marshmallows. They were just plain sugar so they were fine in Viv's book. Until she ate too much and felt sick. Then tell people she was never eating them ever again.

"From what I understand, they s-sing with toads." she says. She's been trying to learn as much as she can about Hogwarts to acclimate herself with the school, and so people don't have to put up with her being confused by everything all the time. "I don't even kn-know why it's called Frog Choir." She notices something's a little different with Viv, especially since her sister has gotten back from Russia, so she's glad for this time together so that she can figure it out. "How are you settling i-in?"

Viv didn't really think much of Elayne's speech habits-they were normal for her. "Is there really that much of a difference between them? They both ribbet and are slimey," she asked before she pulled down a packet of..parkin pillows. "What do you think this is?" She asked with a frown, "it looks....hard. Oh, and...fine! I mean, it's just been the summer so nothing's been that different from the other years, but it's nice not having to translate stuff into Russian. It'll be Hogwarts when, you know, everything will be new...how did you do it? Settle in."

"I think it w-was a lot harder for me than it'd b-be for you." Elayne admits, laughing a little. Out of all her siblings, Elayne is probably the most socially awkward and she knows it. The credit goes to Aunt Sabrina for shipping her off to a remote island for five years. "But the people at Hogwarts are r-really nice! I made friends. I'm sure you will, t-too."

"Who knows! Maybe I will hate them all and murder them all in their sleep," Vivian said, absolutely serious as she said this. Because who knew who would test her in a place full of Brits. Vivian didn't really consider herself British, even though she would be counted as one legally. She'd so much of her life outside of England, she wasn't really well versed in the country. 'Innit' still sounded off to her. Elayne might have been right with saying she was more socially awkward than Viv was. Arguably, one might say Viv wasn't socially competent but not awkward. "What happened with you? When you started?"

Elayne laughs at the murder comment, which might seem a little uncharacteristic of someone so shy, but she's a le Fey so her sense of humor is severely misplaced. "N-nothing much." she says as they continue walking through the aisles, hoping to maybe find something not too odd or extreme and preferably strawberry-flavored. "I'm k-kinda quiet – I made some friends but I haven't b-been up to anything spectacular. Sometimes Tristan practices d-duelling with me when he's free, but that's about as interesting as it g-gets."

"I bet you defeat him so easily," Vivian said, absolutely serious as she said this, but Elayne probably didn't. "Hey! You like strawberries right?" She asked as she suddenly went up onto her tippy toes to look at something at the back of a shelf. "Oh, quiet? Have you tried talking?" Vivian reached for it before pulling back to pull out strawberry lollies that was absolutely covered in sugar.

Elayne laughs a bit when Vivian mentions beating Tristan - the idea she could manage to beat her older brother in a duel is almost laughable, but she appreciates that she seems to have someone on her side in all this. She takes the strawberry lollipop and smiles, though it falters when Viv asks her if she's tried talking. She breathes in before replying, a bit unsure of what to say. "I h-have." she says, patiently. "I'm just not very g-good at it."

"You don't need to be good at it," Vivian said before scrunching out her nose. "You're not trying to be like those stuffy old white men, are you? The ones who use far too many long words that no one can possibly understand in their time on Earth." Viv might have been a little bit more tactful with her words but, in her defence, she was twelve. "But it's fine! Since I'm in Hogwarts now, I can just talk for you when it gets too tough."

Elayne regains her smile a little at the last part, though she does feel quite bad here. She's supposed to be the older one – the one looking out for Viv, and yet Elayne is still the most pathetic one out of all her siblings. She pushes the negative thoughts aside. "Thank y-you." she says, sincerely, though she knows Vivian probably doesn't think much of what she just said. "You're r-right. As long as I have y-you, I'm fine."

Vivian wouldn't say Elayne is pathetic. Men were to be considered pathetic. Not her older sister. Sorry Tristan. But Elayne was right-Vivian didn't really think what she said had that much of an impact. "Exactly! Hogwarts is about to be transformed into something completely different when I set foot in there!" She said, not trying to sound as arrogant as that probably came off. "When all of us set foot in there, really. Gwen's starting this year too, right?"
