History
Daniella has four siblings, Victoria or Tori, Rebecca, Sergio and Gustavo. They were born to a major of the United States Air Force, José Torres, and their mother, Ana María Torres in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dani and Tori are irish twins, with Tori being the older one and Dani being born exactly nine months after, and while this should make them as close as other twin sisters should, it didn't happen because their personalities clashed too much and they had very few similarities with each other. It wasn't very bad, they could still stand each other, and they still managed to live in the same house, so there's that. Their mother was a muggle, while their father was the one who came from a magical family, which he rightfully passed on to his offspring. Daniella had her first sign of magic when she was ten, when she "accidentally" made her books levitate. Because it was closer to Puerto Rico, Daniella opted to go to Castelobruxo which was actually where their parents wanted her and and her sister to go, but Tori made a big fuss about it, wanting to go to Hogwarts instead, across the Atlantic Ocean. Daniella couldn't care less, in fact she was quite relieved because she thought it'd be easier for her to build an image there without her. And so they went their separate ways, with Dani excelling quite well in Castelobruxo because of her intellect, as well as natural charm which she tried to build on. By her third year, Dani was already one of the most popular girls at school, because of the time she spends reading fashion magazines and working with cosmetic products, and this was also the time when she started hiding her "true" self in favor of fame at school. Her siblings didn't like how she was repressing herself, but she didn't care. Her image and reputation was too important for her, which she still doesn't realize, is a giant character flaw for her that she needs to overcome. But alas, she is still much too blinded, mainly because she is still young and naive. Towards the end of her fourth year, Dani started getting letters from a "secret admirer", which immediately raised red flags for her because she's not dumb. She had her suspicions that she might have a stalker, but she ignored it for a while. That is, until this person - an older student - followed her back to her dormitories and tried to sexually assault her. It was futile though, because Dani was able to protect herself and also alerted other students who came to her rescue. Dani's family pressed charges, and the boy faced expulsion from the school. Dani was quite happy about that, but after the incident, she didn't feel safe in Castelobruxo anymore, and asked her parents if she could transfer schools. Her request was granted, and so she transferred to Hogwarts, where Tori and Gustavo are. 🌺🌺🌺 |

Personality
Daniella, or Dani as she likes to be called, is a young half-blood witch who's quite smart for her age. Growing up, she spent a lot of time reading books on both wizard and muggle history, and also about spells and magic in general - which is where she acquired most of her knowledge from. See, she's very passionate for what she does, and once she sets her sight on a goal, she will try her absolute best to achieve it. With that being said, she's also stubborn and is willing to get down and dirty and talk back to people, even if they are of authority. She's also tenacious, and has quite the pride. However, for Dani, her reputation is also quite important for her, and she soon discovered that the smart and the "nerdy" are not technically the type of people the masses fall in love with. And so she tries her best to hide her "true" smart self, just so she could be popular at school and to gain the adoration of people. This is one of her biggest character flaws, a flaw that she so desperately tries to preserve because she has been blinded by false pretenses of beauty, wealth and fame. Because of this, she does not get along very well with her siblings, more specifically her irish twin, Tori, because by nature, they are quite different from each other. However, deep deep down, she truly cares, she's just too stubborn to admit it. 🌺🌺🌺 |
