Etta had taken Paris into Diagon Alley for the day. Okay sure-this wasn't allowed. But it was a Saturday and what was people going to do? Tell the faculty? She was the faculty. As the parent and the deputy head mistress, she figured she could get away with it. She just wanted company to get the order from the book store. It was lonely going all the way here by herself! Her order was in her bag but she'd gotten distracted by the all the other books in the store. It was quiet and it was just them in there. "Oh, what about this one? Reign...Armstrong-Hung? Oh, this was meant to be a really good book. I was never into fantasy but I heard good reviews," Etta hummed out as she pulled it off one of the shelves. "Maybe for you?" She asked as she offered it to Paris, her eyes still scouring the shelves. Etta had too many books already but she told herself having too many books was impossible. Has she read all of them? No, not yet. But she's making a small dent here and there. "Actually, I think I might have taught her," she said, pausing, then shook her head. "Oh, I never remember." It had been a week or so since Malia's visit and Etta seemed...lighter, happier. Maybe it was because Zoe had been found and it hadn't been weighing down on her shoulders so much.

Paris felt smug. He knew there were special perks that came with being the Deputy Headmistress' son and honestly, he loved them all. It was nice getting away from Hogwarts, especially when he was starting to get really overwhelmed with all his exams. He also likes spending time with his mum, so all in all, today is shaping up to be a really good day for him. As always, he was a fan of Flourish and Blotts even with his strained relationship with academics right now, so once he and his mother had arrived, he made a turn for the scifi section, where he's been up until Etta starts talking. He lifts his head, eyes wandering over to his mother and the book she's holding. "Is there anyone you haven't taught?" he asks, audibly amused. He reaches for the book and skims over the cover. "Ever taught anyone that's turned out to be, like....uber famous?"

"Not if they graduated in the past....Merlin, how long as it been now? Six years? Maybe seven? There's been a few. I've taught a few of the royals," Etta said, never really one to brag. "And some of the big names in the music industry apparently. I've also taught very good healers as well who are just as brag worthy as the ones who've gone on to find fame." Etta slid the book back onto the shelf. "Sci-fi? Any ones taking your fancy?"

"A few royals? Merlin's beard, mum, think you can set me up with one of them? Or a big musician, I wouldn't mind," he jokes, cracking a grin. "Oh, uh... Not sure. Maybe I'll find something new down with the classics." Unlikely. It's been a long time since he last read a good old play, though, so... who knows? "Everyone's been making fun of Professor Deonte about teaching all the professors, but I reckon it's you everyone will be teasing in a few years' time."

"I think not," Etta said with a small frown over at her son. He was a baby and was wanting to be set up with someone? Etta couldn't even think of the idea. Maybe in four more years. "Nora's been here for a lot longer than I have, I have a little bit more years before I come close to her. Silas, too. But I suppose our faculty changes so much anyone who lasts more than three years reaches that category."
