Just recently turned 18

What was your first incident of magic and how old were you? (Compulsory)
1. "Okay okay so as a kid I really loved climbing up this old tree in our backyard. Sometimes I can't climb down so I have to like, cry out for someone to get me down. But the thing is, I just keep on going back to that tree so I can climb it all over again like the stubborn little gremlin they always say I am. So this tree is just really old, right? So there's bound to be branches that won't be able to hold my weight anymore but 6 year old me is, again, a stubborn little gremlin who kept on going back to that tree til one day the usual branches weren't able to hold my weight anymore so surprise, surprise I fell! But instead of getting broken bones I somehow cushioned my fall using magic? I admit the trauma is still there and so is the ringing in my ear from my parents' scolding but hey, at least accidental magic saved me, right?"
Do you believe in love at first sight?
1. "What kind of love though? Romantic? Platonic? Obsessive? Love towards precious items that hold emotional significance? Or a place? Because let me tell you the first time I saw the dance practice room of Silencio I was in love. Like, I think I spent an inordinate amount of time just admiring the work that went into making that masterpiece. I'm so glad I married this job because I'd get to spend my free time just dancing in that room~"
Have you ever been in love? If so, with who? If not, do you want to be in love?
1. "Nope, I haven't!! At least not with a real person anyway. Or, y'know, someone who exists within a 1 mile radius from where I am. Or like, felt anything that felt like legit romantic love and not idolisation. It's- It's complicated. But if you're asking me if I wanna be in love... Well hell yes? There's only so much fluff fics and nauseatingly cute fictional couples I could see and observe before I start feeling lovesick as well oof."
What is one activity that helps wind you down? Alternatively, what is one activity that does the opposite to you? Is there more than one, if so-what?
1. "Dancing!! In the wise words of immortal philosophers and queens of my heart, TWICE, dance the night away. But seriously though I could literally feel the tension and stress leave me the moment I start dancing or choreographing. It's why I pursued this career in the first place! I also find joy in cooking, specifically baking. I have this thing called lexical-gustatory synesthesia where sounds have different tastes to me and sometimes when I go about my day I taste certain combinations that I would try to recreate as soon as I'm home~ ... An activity that winds me up? Anything that involves bugs." He shudders in clear disgust and fear. "Bumblebees and butterflies are the only insects who deserve rights."
Were you close with your family growing up? If not-why?
1. "I mean I guess I am? I'm closest to my twin Hwanni and that's because I stick to his side like a stubborn leech~ Our parents are... highly overworked but they do try! Hwanni and I are also one of the youngest in among our cousins so we were getting that baby treatment. I'm not gonna lie, I do love being spoiled. Maybe it's the baby boy in me." A mischievous grin spreads on his face. "As for our grandparents... Yikes... I'm not even gonna go there."
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
1. "Hopefully still a dancer and choreographer. I really can't see myself as anything but being those two. Maybe I'll have a bakery on the side. Who knows?"
What were you like growing up?
1. "Between Hwanni and I, I was probably the more chaotic one? Like, the chaotic enabler if you may. Our father had to rein me in line several times and I've gotten grounded a lot of times. It's not my fault that I had waaaay to much energy in my system and I needed a proper way to channel them. We did find out later when I was around 9 or something that dancing does just the trick. I still had some moments though~"
If you’re not native to the UK, where were you born and how did you end up in the UK?
1. "Hwanni and I were born in Osaka, Japan and growing up we went back and forth from Osaka to Busan and back again since we have immediate family in both places~ We needed a change of scenery and decided that the UK would be a great healing place for the both of us."
How much effort do you put into fashion and appearance? Do you have a personal ‘aesthetic’?
1. "I put a generous amount of effort in my appearance. While I am blessed with dashing good looks, there's always this feeling of contentment and achievement at being able to like, make myself look even better! My personal aesthetic, in my opinion, is super comfy. I don't like overly restrictive clothes but I also don't like super baggy ones, you feel? I like wearing clothes that let me move way easier~ In terms of colour palette I do enjoy colour-coordinating my outfits. It's fun!"
What can usually be found in your fridge?
1. "Vanilla pudding. Lots and lots of vanilla pudding. I know, I know it's not healthy blah blah but I would absolutely ascend to the highest heavens or descend to the depths of hell for vanilla pudding. Occasionally I do remember to stock up on necessary groceries like whenever I'm not bone-deep into work, but you will always, always find vanilla pudding in my fridge. Always. But that isn't an invitation to take any of those because those are mine and mine only!"
Do you have instances in your past that you’d prefer not to tell people?
1. "Well yeah duh!"
Do you think you're prejudiced or have a certain bias?
1. "I mean, everyone will always have this tendency to be biased towards certain things depending on how they were raised so I probably do have some biases and prejudices that I'm not aware of. However, I do try my best to like, educate myself on those kinds of things. I try my best to not be discriminatory towards anyone regardless of gender, preferences, culture, race... Y'know, like a decent human being. I may be a gremlin but I'm not an a**hole."
Are you happy with the path that you've found yourself on? How would you change it if you could?
1. "I am! Hwanni and I are pursuing the paths in life we want to take with no overly traditional grandparents breathing heavily down our necks! I'm really proud of how far we've come, considering we've only been legal adults for less than a year. I don't think I wan't to change it in any way, but you'll never know what life has in store~"
