A. Please answer the following questions as elaborately as possible. (Remember, this part is only a requirement for your third to fifteenth character! However, if you want to have more input on where you character is sorted, then please answer #6!)
1) What would you consider to be your character's strengths, and your character's weaknesses? Elaborate on your answer.
One of her strengths is her willpower. She doesn't like being told she can't do something, and may succeed doing what people think she can't just due to this and her stubbornness. One weakness is that she can be headstrong and get into trouble by taking a dare or trying to prove herself when she never should have been. She currently lacks the discernment or wisdom to really be able to tell what she can and can't accomplish.
2) What goals and objectives has your character set out in their life? Is it to be successful and rich? Is it to find happiness? Why?
Right now he goals are to not get kicked out of school. She prefers to be outdoors so sitting inside a classroom all day and listening to people talk is difficult. She often gets distracted or loses focus on the topic at hand. She's smart enough, but doesn't really care for formalized learning, preferring hands on and practical lessons.
3) What's their ideal way of spending a free day? Why so?
She loves the water (though rarely gets to swim or be around it) and would probably be lounging by a body of water working on her tan. That being said she doesn't tend to have free days as her days tend to be spent helping her parents in their restaurant.
4) If your character could only keep 5 possessions, what would they be? Why?
She has a silver locket from one of her ancestors. She now has a wand which she thinks is amazing and is important to her. She likes playing cards and gambling (put not for actual money), so she usually has a deck with her...sometimes even a tarot deck. Her clothes (in general not specific pieces) because she likes to express she style through them (usually cutoff jeans and tanktops with plaid shirts over them) even though their worn and tattered. She sees this as a positive, not a negative. Her converse high tops that are pink and lime green. She'd only really had cheap or secondhand things, but her parents got them specifically for her birthday because she wanted them and she loves them...mostly because they're hers and special.
5) What one thing would your character change about the wizarding society? Why?
At this point she doesn't really know much about the wizarding world, much less their society. She's not really sure why it's a secret from everyone...so maybe that?
6) What house does your character want to be in? What house does your character not want to be in? Why?
She probably is a Grffindor at heart, and probably wouldn't fit in well in Ravenclaw.

Anna Marie is the kind of person who has a lot of trouble admitting she's wrong and trouble letting other people be wrong either. She speaks her mind freely and though that may take some getting used to she also won't lie to you. She's brave and not afraid to step up to protect others she sees as getting bullied. She has no shortage of self confidence (which might come across to others as arrogance), even when it may be unfounded. She's an only child so she's always had to look elsewhere for friends.
Due to her growing up in a fairly poor home she learned to appreciate hard work. She tends to look at how valuable things are and has picked up a small hoarder tendency due to her parents not wanting to get rid of things that could be useful since they wouldn't be able to just go buy them if they needed them. She keeps a small bag of odds and ends that she feel might be useful for something eventually (but are probably mostly junk). She also eats quickly like she's worried about food disappearing (though nobody has ever taken her food) because there was never quite enough for her to feel really full.
She's naturally curious about how things work, and likes to explore in details. She doesn't necessarily accept things are how people say they are until she sees it for herself. She isn't innately respectful of adults just because they're adults or in positions of authority until she's seen that they've earned that position in her eyes.
2) Write about the history of your character. How did they grow up? Is there an incident that made them the way they are? etc. (Again, you can copy this onto your character page later!) (Remember, history must at least be two paragraphs long for the first two characters, three paragraphs long for the third to eighth character, and four paragraphs long for the ninth to fifteenth character!)
Anna Maria was born on January 10th, 2022 to Maria and Tom Laveau. Her parents had been trying to have a child for a number of years, and were thrilled when her Mother got pregnant. Her Dad and Mom both worked at a small Cajun restaurant that they owned and operated. They didn't make a lot of money from it, though the food was excellent, and ended up working long hours to cater to the customers and pay for both the business and their home. Still, the customers that came were like family and most were regulars.
Maria (a lot of the women in their family had this name due to the Catholic influences on their family) continued to work until she was nine months pregnant. Things didn't go quiet as planned and while Anna Maria was born healthy, due to the complications with the birth her Mom couldn't have any more kids. Both Maria and Tom were sad, but also happy they had a healthy baby girl.
She grew up active and healthy, helping out in the restaurant where she could. Her parents instilled the value of hard work. She had occasional troubles at school, mostly with her and teachers not getting along, or with her being more interested in what was going on outside the classroom or on different things from what she was supposed to be doing in the classroom. She grew up on the folktakes of Voodoo, but her and her parents were still shocked when she somehow set the dirty dishes to washing themselves when she was eight. Her mom said the locket she has is from some great grandmother that supposedly practiced voodoo. She got her Hogwarts letter, and while she's still skeptical this whole thing might be a hoax, she also understands that she got accepted to a special school (which is helping her parents so she can afford to go) and doesn't want to waste the opportunity that might change her (and her families) lives.
3) Write about your character's appearance. What do they look like? Are you planning on using a certain model for your character? If you already have a picture in mind, you can put it here!
I don't have a model in mind yet...still looking. Anna Marie is a bit tall for her age and skinny. She doesn't look quite starved (she never was starved) but does look like she could use a bit more to eat. she likes to wear jean shorts (since it's usually so warm in southern Louisiana) along with tank tops and plaid shirts over them. They're working clothes, but they keep her cool enough. All of her clothes are also a bit worn or tattered since most are secondhand or bought used.
4) Is your character a Pure-Blood, Half-Blood or Muggle-Born? Do you have any notable magical relations? (Remember, you cannot be related to important Harry Potter characters!)
Muggle-Born.
5) Does your character have any special magical abilities? Or special abilities in general (photographic memory, etc.)? Is he or she of a different magical race, such as Veela, Vampire, Werewolf or the like? Part or half of that magical race counts! (Remember, you cannot have a character with special abilities/of a different magical race as one of your first two characters!)
Maybe something special eventually with voodoo magic? Not sure how that would work yet, or how it would be RPed so for now we'll say nothing special and get this worked and approved later if it comes up.
