6) Give a description of your character's personality. Personality must be at least one paragraph long. Are you noble or sneaky? Arrogant or Humble? Anything about your character that might help the Sorting Hat decide. (Don't worry, you can copy this onto your character page later!)

Athena is very tall strung in her views and morals. She's a strong advocate for equal rights of all humanoid creatures and witches and wizards of all bloodlines. If you want to pick an argument with her, you better know your stuff, because you can bet she's going to know hers. She praises herself on being intelligent, but keeps this to herself and doesn't boast about it. If someone makes a snood comment or one that she finds insulting, she will not let it go. You can expect to her to tell you just how wrong you really are. Athena likes to have fun, but is obssessed with learning and making things happen. A classic government-style woman. She likes to make friends and work with them if they're willing to work with her. In all truth, she can be a bit much at times, but at the end of the day, she makes up for it with her caring heart for the things that are really important, far beyond education.

7) Write about the history of your character. History must be at least two paragraphs long. How did they grow up? Is there an incident that made them the way they are? etc. (Again, you can copy this onto your character page later!)

Theo Russo was a very powerful and hard working MACUSA official. His wife, Metisa, was a very intelligent and cunning civil servant working in the Department of Education. The two met at a bar in New York, hit it off, and began a relationship. This relationship was strictly a professional one. They gained power through one another, working their way to the top to gain more and more power. Theo was very clear that he didn't want any children, and would do anything to keep it that way. As fortune would serve them, Metisa became pregnant with Theo's child.

Theo was furious, and knew he would have nothing to do with a child. So, he told Metisa to pack her bags, and to move out of their apartment. Metisa was forced to leave, and now would have to bear the child on her own. Metisa was cunning and intelligent, so she was fully capable. However, during child birth, Metisa had passed away. As unfortunate as it was, it also left Theo with the responsibility of caring for the baby. By that time, Theo had come to his senses after Metisa's death. He was deeply saddened by it, and deemed himself as the one to blame for what had happened. He found that taking care of the child was the only way to make up for his mistakes, so that's exactly what he did. He began to care for the young child, Athena, the name Metisa gave her.

Since Metisa's death, Theo has remarried a woman named Juno, who he again, uses for a political relationship. He cheats on her often, which makes Juno furious, but she doesn't want to hurt her or Theo's career by making a scandal out of it. Athena has since grown up. She learned to read at an early age, fully capable of reading Tales of Beedle the Bard by the time she was four years old. She was sort of a tom boy growing up, and enjoyed playing with the other girls and boys in her wizarding apartment complex. When Athena was nine, she was playing kickball with some of the other muggle kids at the park. Athena wasn't very good at kicking the ball, so some of the other older kids started making fun of her. She got mad, and had a deep desire to show them wrong. So when she kicked the ball next time, the ball went off, and began zig zagging around all of the kids on the other team. This was one of the first times that Athena saw her magical abilities at work. Her parents were so happy to hear about the story, and explained to her that she was beginning to show some magic. As for Athena was thrilled that it was actually magic! She heard so many stories from them that it made her even more eager to learn more. Knowing she had magical abilities excited her.

When she finally came of age, she was accepted to the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, put into the Horned Serpent house. Athena loved school, unlike most of her other friends. Most of them did not have the same passion to learn like she did. She wanted to analyze life and society. She became very firm in multiple beliefs. One example is her claim that the term "pure-blood" is degrading to those of NoMaj decent, and should not be an acceptable term in education or even society for that matter. Athena also believes in giving rights back to humanoid creatures, such as centaurs and goblins, who have been stripped the same rights as witches and wizards simply because they are different. If you're going to start a debate with Athena, be sure to know your stuff.

Life without a mother has been difficult, but she's often inspired by the power that her step-mother and father have in the MACUSA government, and is proud of their accomplishments. She wishes she could've known her mother, but is humbled in the fact that they were both in the same house of Horned Serpent, unlike her father, who was a Thunderbird.

In her fifth year at Ilvermorny, one of her professor's told her that she might see it enriching to study abroad at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for her final two years. Athena, who was nervous, was also very intrigued. And after talking about it with her parents, she decided to go to Hogwarts School for her 6th and 7th years of her education. Her father was able to start talking to people in the Ministry of Magic, and found her a susceptible home. He found that the Olympian family would make a great fit for Athena, which she finds ironic because of her own name being that of a Greek god. They have opened their doors to let her stay with them and act as a family to her while she makes this experience come true, and she couldn't be more thankful to them. She's currently starting her 6th year at Hogwarts.

8) Write about your character's appearance. How do they look like? Are you planning on using a certain model for your character? If you already have a picture in mind, you can put it here!

Athena much resembles that of the greek goddess, Athena. Powerful, intelligent, and stunning. She has dark hair and cooling eyes. She is not into making herself look like an object like most women do, she's more into making herself look respectable to men and women. She is a stone cold believer on not revealing too much skin, or just as much as men do, so most of her clothing is not too utterly revealing. She's tall with dark complexion on account of her father being white and her mother being black. She has a strong stature that gives off a "don't pick a fight with me or you will lose" type of vibe. Athena is average height at 5' 5", but her legs are rather long compared to the rest of her.

Model: Zendaya Athena 1

9) Are you Pure-Blood, Half-Blood or Muggle-Born? Do you have any notable magical relations? (Remember, you cannot be related to important Harry Potter characters!)

Full Parental Decendance (pure-blood)

10) Does your character have any special magical abilities? Or special abilities in general (photographic memory, etc.)? Is he or she of a different magical race, such as veela, vampire, werewolf or the likes? Part or half of that magical race counts! (Remember, you cannot have an "exotic" characters as your first two characters!)

No special attributes other than a very smart young witch.

11) What year is your character in?

6th Year

  • What was Athena's first magical sign? How did her father and stepmother take to it? How did she take to it?
    • 'Added to the history: 'Athena began exhibiting signs of magic at a late age, which worried her father and step mother. Finally when magical signs became more apparent, her parents were overjoyed. As for Athena, she was even more happy than either of them. She heard so many stories from them that it made her even more eager to learn more.
  • From what I have searched, the International Correlation of Wizards isn't a canonical thing. If I'm mistaken, please give me a link to your source. :) If it's not canon after all, then I'm afraid I can't allow it in her history. Granted this is a fanon site that doesn't have to follow canon at all times, but if it has to do with the ministry, we have to be a little stricter and stick as close as possible to canon.
    • Added to the History: Sorry, I meant to say the International /confederation/ of wizards. And if the ICW wouldn't be the group or whatever to offer scholarships to students to study abroad, then I can just change the history to say that a professor recommended she study abroad at Hogwarts, and that her parents made it happen or something like that.

  • Can you specify at least her first magical outburst?
    • 'Update and Added: 'When Athena was nine, she was playing kickball with some of the other muggle kids at the park. • Yeah, the International Confederation of Wizards don't offer scholarships... :P
    • 'Update and Added: 'In her fifth year at Ilvermorny, one of her professor's told her that she might see it enriching to study abroad at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for her final two years.
