Funeral of Shane Frozon and Ruby Young
A thick mist surrounds the island and a deep depression seems to taint the air. The two bodies lay out on a platform, one young and vibrant the other old yet youthful. Around you sobs come from every direction. Flames circles overhead as the ceremony begins. The minister stands and begins the sermon.
Brandon moved about the space conjuring up chairs. He had a smile on his face, but inside he was brimming with tears.

*Einar stands well back among the trees, head bowed. He's not at all sure he belongs here, what with the politics of the moment and such, but, somehow, it would have felt wrong to stay away entirely. He's struck an uneasy compromise with his conscience.*
Homer sat down calm becuase he had experience death on more than the occasion. So he was used to these things. After all dying is part of living he thought to himself.

Linch would stand by Einar and wait for the sermon to begin. He would be uneasy knowing that Shane had contacted him after his death and also the fact that he just wasn't good at funerals. This man treated him like an equal and a friend and was one of the few people Linch had cared about. Linch would be extremely on the edge.
Joseph sat down towards the back, holding the pin in his pocket. He hoped that the testimonies would not take long, so he could place the pin with Shane's body and leave. He tried to ignore the expressions of grief around him and keep a calm head.
He nodded to Kinsel as he took the stand. He sighed. "Shane was the father I grew up without. And I know that's cliché, but it's true. Not only was he lie a father to me, but he was a mentor, a professor, and, overall, a friend. I don't want to go on because I'll end up rambling. Let's just say, he'll live in our hearts forevermore."
