Karith would slip into the secret passage to Hogsmeade. He would wait for Rose to follow him down into the tunnel, then seal it up and give her a smile. "Much better than class.."
Rosette rolls her eyes at Karith. "Obviously. Anything is better than watching Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs hopelessly trying to pass their classes. Oh, wait." She pauses to tap her chin with her finger. "That's my best past time. I just don't want them to be in my personal space."
Karith laughs. "They do take up rather a lot of space and air don't they?" He would continue walking along the tunnel. "So, anything specific you'd like to do in Hogsmeade?"
Rosette hums as she walks towards the magical town. "I could go for a good cold bottle of Butterbeer. I'm also thinking of sending in a pay-order for a broomstick. Anything to beat those pesky Gryffindors during Quidditch. You?"
Karith would shrug. "Well, I already have a great broom for our Quidditch matches. Butterbeer sounds great. Maybe Zonko's...I mean Slytherin Day was excellent, but we need to come up with something...more for next time." He would stop and think. "I guess that's all I really want to do. I'm more happy to not be in class than anything." They would reach the exit into Honeydukes, and Karith would check nobody was around. Once he knew they were safe, he would open the trapdoor, and offer Rose a hand to help her out.
Rosette smiles gratefully as she takes his hand and is lifted out. "Ohh, more pranks." She takes a moment to think. "It'll be nice to see what else we can do to everyone in the school. Maybe even help out Freya with her Gryffindor problem. So many ideas, so little time."
They would walk up into Honeydukes, careful not to be seen, then out into the street. "I agree, though I have no idea how to top what we did. It was quite spectacular." He would think for a minute. "...and about Freya....I think we should let her handle her gryffindor problem. If I find they're picking on her, I'll defend her, but payback is something she really needs to learn to take care of on her own. It'll help her grow, so she can take care of herself. If she asks for help, I'll help, but otherwise, I think we should leave it to her to take care of..."
Rosette just shrugs before leaning into the shadows as someone passed by. "Doesn't mean I can't get her a present. Something that can seem harmless and let her figure out a way to use it to her advantage." She smiles innocently. "I want to see what she can do."
Karith would laugh. "Oh, I absolutely agree." As they entered Zonkos, Karith would ask. "Any idea what you want to get her? something we can get here, or something more unique that we'll need to put together back at school?"
Rosette shrugs as she walks around the store, eying the products on the counter. "Something simple. We have to let her stop at the beginning and work her way up. Hiccough sweets, dungbombs, nose-biting teacups. They won't be able to pin this on her as she's only a first year so can't come to Hogsmeade and anyone can by these products."
Karith would nod. "What we really need is something that activates later....something she can give out, like a sweet or toy, that would cause mischief later..."
Rosette lightly scowls as she thinks of something. "Well, I'll hate to admit it, but that damn Weasley store always has the best merchandize. Too bad there's not one here. Probably a good idea with the timing, though. Good time though is during dinner. Everyone in one place, so many suspects."
Karith would nod. "True...though it's hard to slip something into a Gryffindor drink without being noticed..unless you create a distraction of some sort, or have the House elves put it in before sending it up. You can't target a specific person that way, but you can get a whole table."
Karith nods. "Still, we'll just provide Freya with the materials and see what she comes up with." He would pull a bag off the shelf. "What do you think about candy that seals the mouth of whoever eats it for an hour?"
Rosette smiles as she reads the cover on the box she's holding. "Actually let us have the time to think and have peace without anyone bothering us. Brilliant." She shows the box to Karith. "How 'bout this? Wipe it on any type of fabric and it becomes invisible. See through clothes. It's a liquid so you can put it in a goblet and accidentally spill it on someone. It works on and off for a few hours."
Karith would smile. "Well, I can think of plunty of uses for that...though none I would share with a first year..." He would eye her up and down, a smirk on his face. "Care to try it out?"
After getting hit, he would think seriously for a second. "I love the idea, but what if Freya does it to this girl and she's not wearing a bra or underwear that day...could get into a lot more trouble than it's worth, and it seems like a high risk." He would think for a minute. "...there are a lot of uses, like a temporary invisibility cloak to sneak around and such, so I definately think we should get some, but maybe something else for Freya just in case she doesn't have the...maturity to use this stuff right yet."
He would keep looking. After a minute he would pull a bottle off a shelf near where Rose had gotten the invisibility potion. "How about this...liquid confundus charm...works on contact. Confuses someone for a hour or so, makes them walk around confused and they can't remember where they were going or what they were doing."
