"seungbeom's so cute, i'll name our puppy after him," he'd overheard. his desk was cramped from all the snacks the next day.
seungbeom's spent most of his life nodding and smiling along to his surroundings. to him, extracting his emotions from everyday life is like breathing. don't be too carried away by obvious smirks and the fine curve of his eyelashes; he knows he's damn fine and it's what sells the 엄친아 image so well. the fans eat it up. behind the fresh smile and boyish laughter is misplaced insincerity — a whole lot of it. he's rolled his eyes one too many times when the other person's back is turned, and the glint of his teeth take on a sarcastic shine if you peer closely. his compliments have the same superficial backbone.

eyebags drooping down to his ankles are seungbeom's go to fashion statement. there's not much to work with when you have an overworked father who's never home and three sisters who need their medicine and daily TLC. if you ever look at his fucking smug face and ask the sky who in the seven hells could wrench his heart from him, the sky will rain down on his house's roof. all the awful names and hate comments in the world would not stop him from smiling at his sisters. frugal with affection and money, the only reason he would pay attention to you is to get a nice tip when you finish your meal. when he's leaning across countertops and tables to snatch your breath away, remember he only flirts when he's not interested. when life doesn't even give you lemons, you learn to take it from the tree.
