Maddox's personality tends to differ greatly depending on who he's with. For instance, when he's around his parents he is the stereotypical businessman his parents have been prepping him to be for the vast majority of his life. He'll act proper and sophisticated when he's around them as he's always in fear of getting reprimanded when they are in the area. However whenever he's alone with his boyfriend Jared, Maddox drops the sophisticated act and just acts like himself, a cute and hyper goofball who would prefer to be in Jared's arms over doing most things in the world. There isn't a day that goes by where Maddox isn't in the mood to be close and affectionate with Jared and he'd do anything to make sure Jared realizes how much he cares for him. Maddox is the type of person who will always put those he loves above himself.
However there is one thing that stays the same no matter who Maddox is with, his anxiety. Maddox often finds it hard to communicate with people without having a panic attack in the process. Which often means its harder for him to get along with people, the only ones who have ever really been able to break through his anxiety are his parents and Jared. His anxiety doesn't just come from social situations either, it comes from mostly everything that he can't control.

Maddox Charoenkul was born in the year of 2010 on June 26th to mortal Jason Charoenkul and his pure-blood wife Daphne Charoenkul. The couple themselves were a very rich and powerful duo in Thailand, they were the chairmen and chairwomen of their own chain of five star hotels that were scattered around Thailand and was even branching out into more countries in Asia. And they intended to keep their hotels under the family name by eventually passing it down to their eldest child Miles when he came of age.
Maddox grew up spoiled to say the least. He was often pampered by whomever was taking care of him at the time, need it be his mother or one of the many nannies he saw come in and out of the front doors. However unlike his siblings, Maddox never seemed to grow accustomed to the constant pampering or the wealthy lifestyle the rest of his family fancied. As cliche as it sounded, all he ever really wanted was to be normal and not live a lifestyle of constant luxury. But alas, he never got the chance as he was always been whisked away to one of the families many houses in London, Brazil or a private island.
By the time Maddox was seven, he had already accompanied his parents to a plethora of board meetings alongside his four siblings. However he would always be removed from the room for creating too many distractions and unintentionally bringing meetings to a halt until he left the room. This was the first sign that Maddox wasn't like his siblings in the sense that they were already taking on the businessmen and women role. Although they were all nine or more years older than he was, even when they were seven they behaved better than Maddox ever did during meetings.
It was Maddox's eighth birthday when he first encountered magic. He had went into the kitchen to find his mom when he watched her conjure a cake from thin air. At first he thought he was seeing things, but what he saw was real, and Daphne quickly had to explain to him what had happened. Maddox listened to his mother explain why he wasn't allowed to find out sooner, as Jason was a mortal, he wanted Maddox to be kept in the dark about his wizarding powers until he was of age to fully understand them. It was from that moment on that Daphne began to prep Maddox for the schooling to come.
When Maddox turned ten years old, his parents had to make sure that his poor behaviour at board meetings was brought to an end. And so Jason and Daphne began to act stricter towards Maddox, not letting him have as much freedom as he wanted. Whenever Maddox acted out of place at a board meeting or even at home, he was quickly scolded for his actions which is inevitably why he began to have anxiety attacks as he was always in fear of being reprimanded. It is safe to say that when Maddox's parents tightened the reins on Maddox's behaviour, he straitened up out of fear.
Upon Maddox's eleventh birthday, he was accepted into Hogwarts and was eventually attending the school. While in his first year, Maddox met his best friend Jared Song. The two instantly became close, and when they were in the third year that friendship eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship between the two. They have since solidified a strong relationship together and have been inseparable since. The two are still together to this day and they often take trips home to visit Maddox's parents.

- A) I have a lot of other responsibilities, and although I really want to be a part of this wiki, there may be days on end I won't be able to participate in anything.
