The Character's Background

1) Give a description of your character's personality. Are you noble or sneaky? Arrogant or Humble? Anything about your character that might help the Sorting Hat decide. (Don't worry, you can copy this onto your character page later!) (Remember, personality must be at least one paragraph long for the first two characters, two paragraphs long for the third to eighth characters, and three paragraphs long for the ninth to fifteenth!)
Meg is very shy compared to her brother Zak. She often says that she'll just leave all the talking to them, and in situations that are uncomfortable for her, she sticks by his side a lot. It happens that a lot of situations are uncomfortable for her. Zak likes playing the role of protective brother and she has no problem with letting him do it. While fully aware that she can take care of herself anyway, she'd rather not have to display so much confidence. It's hard for her, after all. Still, after showing her that you're someone that you can trust and that she has no reason to be afraid, she ends up being very loyal and a good friend, with great insight into many topics.

While not being very confident in her abilities to interact with other people, she's confident in her ability to work hard. She and her brother are both very smart, though she credits her success less to natural talent and more to dedication and determination. It's like this with all her pursuits. If she succeeds despite knowing she didn't give her 100%, then she won't feel any pride from the achievement. However, this doesn't stop the fact that she's very, very competitive. It's all friendly competition, and the rivalry she has with her brother also doesn't mean anything serious like resentment or hate. Still, she gets stressed easily over different things, like living up to her parents, being on par with her brother, or what other people think of her. Because of this, she tends to be very accepting towards others because she doesn't want anyone else to feel the same way.

All in all, Meg has a big heart but small chances of opening it up for the world to see. Still, in the end, she's very sweet and anyone would be lucky to have her as a friend.

2) Write about the history of your character. How did they grow up? Is there an incident that made them the way they are? etc. (Again, you can copy this onto your character page later!) (Remember, history must at least be two paragraphs long for the first two characters, three paragraphs long for the third to eighth character, and four paragraphs long for the ninth to fifteenth character!)
Cai Rosendale and Liz Mitchell were the epitome of a love-hate relationship, though the whole 'hate' bit might've been one-sided on Liz's part. Over the course of their fifth and sixth year, that love-hate relationship slowly started to turn into real friendship. Finally, in their seventh year, when they were made Head Boy and Head Girl, that friendship turned into something more. It was kind of a shock to all how arrogant and charming Cai, and bookish and serious Liz could end up falling for each other, but nobody denied that it was really a perfect match. Two years after they both graduated Hogwarts, Cai and Liz went to Zakynthos island and they were hit with the news that Liz got pregnant. Fast forward nine months later and Liz gave birth to twins: Zakynthos and Megara, continuing the Rosendale trend of naming kids after places. Sometime during all this, the two finally decided to tie the knot and get married.

A couple years later, Meg and Zak would welcome another brother into the world, Rome Rosendale. Cai and Liz's jobs made it so that the family travelled around the world a lot. It was one of Meg's favorite parts of growing up was getting to experience the culture and traditions of other countries. She and Zak ended up picking up a lot of languages in the process too. All in all, they grew up in a really intellectually stimulating environment. On top of that, she and her brother both learned an instrument to play. While Zak chose the violin, she chose the guitar. A lot of her first signs of magic went under the radar. It mostly had to do with broken things repairing themselves and wounds healing themselves because she didn't want to get in trouble. Eventually, her parents saw it happen in action, not that there was any surprise, being born into a magic family.

She and Zak were always the dream team. Unlike lots of brother-sister combos, she only gets annoyed at him for show, and they're actually really, really close. She mostly sticks to him because he talks on her behalf and makes her feel safer and more comfortable in her shoes in general. While she's determined to beat him in everything, and Zak is determined to do the same, she's glad that the competition hasn't been causing any real rifts in their relationship and instead inspires her to work harder and do better.

When she and Zak turned eleven, she got accepted into Hogwarts. She's a little disappointed that the travelling has to be put on hold for three quarters of the year, and a lot more scared about having to get accustomed to a brand new environment, but she guesses with Zak at her side, she'll be just fine. Hopefully she gets sorted into Slytherin or Ravenclaw, though. Her parents keep telling her it's okay wherever she ends up, but of course she wouldn't believe them about that.

3) Write about your character's appearance. What do they look like? Are you planning on using a certain model for your character? If you already have a picture in mind, you can put it here!

Meg Gif 1
Her model will be Willow Shs.

4) Is your character a Pure-Blood, Half-Blood or Muggle-Born? Do you have any notable magical relations? (Remember, you cannot be related to important Harry Potter characters!) Half-Blood.

5) Does your character have any special magical abilities? Or special abilities in general (photographic memory, etc.)? Is he or she of a different magical race, such as Veela, Vampire, Werewolf or the like? Part or half of that magical race counts! (Remember, you cannot have a character with special abilities/of a different magical race as one of your first two characters!) None.

6) What year is your character in? First.
