Template:Archivetop Yesterday, a new talk page system came out that people either love, or hate. You can check it out on Central, but we may want to have it here. Here is a quick summary:
PROS:
- Admins are Notified of Problems, Automatically
- Users can add a customized greeting
- The New system allows users to have all there notifications in one place.
- Automatic Signature
- Alert directly to the conversation
- People can respond directly to a welcome message, that is signed by the admin.
- The Complex coding is gone!
- Archives automatically
CONS:
- It's a big change
- The wiki bot will need to be updated
- You can see a conversation in the wiki activity (being worked on)
- Notifications are now next to your username (being worked on)
Issues Fixed:
- Some users received notifications from other user wall posts, now they wouldn't!
Other Stuff:
- Your old talk page would be archived.
