This vote is regarding the order of operations for a couple of upcoming OOC events: vote for User Rights Requests and the Admin Team Meeting.
We complete the user rights vote, and once the new team members are chosen/promoted, we hold the meeting with the full team (in about two - three weeks' time from this weekend, depending on the amount of time it takes to work out availability for team members.)
We have the meeting first (one week from this weekend), then once the user rights vote closes, we hold another meeting with the full team (in about two - three weeks' time from this weekend, depending on the amount of time it takes to work out availability for team members.)
Option 1 (+3)
Option 2 (+)
It seems redundant to hold the meeting twice if the whole idea is that in the second meeting, you'll get new insight from new admin. With one meeting you can just have it
- Not only that, but it's overall redundant, no? The user rights vote already commenced, so there isn't a point, unless I'm misinterpreting everything.
- Overall, the vote is a thing to gauge what the user base wants us to do. The meeting in question was meant to be held some time in the past month, but hadn't came to fruition due to real life keeping most apart. Subsequently, it was intended to be held next week, as stated in this forum, but the issue of not having a full team was brought up. Therefore we put it to the user base to decide what they would rather see; the meeting first or a full admin team and then a meeting. Both this vote and the user rights vote were opened together so that, if the user base decided on having the full team and then the meeting, it could all go about seamlessly without waiting another week. I hope that clears things up!! :)
