The Stunning spell would strike it's target square in the chest, but, in light of his armor, only served to knock him backwards slightly. The ropes would soar over Euclides head, but the third spell would hit it's desired target.

There were few things left behind. There was a strip of cloth from Professor Euclide's robes, torn from a long thorn poking out of the ground. The ground would be a little scuffed, most marks worn away by wind. Ropes would be a few feet away from them, a bit tattered.
