Lyra stood in the middle of the quidditch pitch with what appeared to be a bludger in her arms, gently tossing it up and down in the air. She didn't appear to be focused on anything in particular and waited until the other quidditch players for her team showed up.

Lyra allowed a friendly smile to appear as Jackson showed up first, her excitement simmering deep within the pit of her stomach. "You are the first," she said and her attention caught on Khina and Diana as they entered. "Hello," she said with a slight wave, "is everyone else super excited for this year or is that just me?"
