1) Give a short history of your character. How did they grow up? Is there an incident that made them the way they are? etc.
As long as I could remember, I was an orphan. No loving parents. Can't say I care anymore... For most of my early days, I lived in an old orphanage. It was wretched. No one there truly cared for you. You barely got enough food to get by. And the whole damn place was ready to fall apart. Still, it was better than the streets. Life was...uneventful. But I prefered it that way. However, it did not last forever. I received an owl, offering me to go to Hogwarts. I gladly accepted. Anything was better than this dump. I did well in Hogwarts, despite struggle in certain subjects. Of course, then he came. Lionell Carson. That boy was the most annoying I ever met. Naturally, he was Slytherin. I made an enemy out of him. He drove me to extreme lengths of frustration over the course of time. And one day, I just cracked. We got into a duel. It wasn't pretty. The boy survived, but he was banged up pretty rough. Fortunately, the family did not press charges, but I was expelled from Hogwarts. Since I was unable to finish up my final exams, I wasn't able to get a good job. I managed to find an abandoned apartment, but I need money. I stole, pickpocketed, robbed, mugged, and even killed people for food or money. It was awful, but I had to do it if I wanted to survive. When I wasn't doing these things, I was completing my magical education with my old books and some books I found in the apartment. With the money I didn't spend on food, I spent on books. I even studied the Dark Arts. During the time of the Second Wizarding War, I found that thievery was getting more and more difficult with people being more cautious. I began to hear rumours of contracters hiring professionals to eliminate "undesirables". Since I had no other place to go, I took up the jobs. This began my career in assassination. With the money from my contracts, I spent it on new gear, weapons and books. I learned new forms of fighting to help me in my career. I became an instrument of death.
2) Give a short description of your character's personality. Are you noble or sneaky? Arrogant or humble?
A cold fellow, the first word to describe Roland would certainly not be kind. He could be described only as the "strong-silent" type. He can be rude, or even downright hostile with people. Although, it is not entirely impossible to gain his respect. And if you earn it, he will show you respect. Even though he's a cold man, he does use sarcasm every now and again. He'll even throw in a few jokes.
3) Are you Pure-Blood, Half-Blood or Muggle-Born? Do you have any notable magical relations? (Remember, you cannot be related to important Harry Potter characters!)
