Shiloh is a tortured, reclusive soul who would much rather shut herself off from the world and pretend that no one else exists. She has been rendered virtually friendless for all of her life and so she tends to be awkward around people, trying to distract herself with a book or her hands while she maintains a very brief conversation.
She has a fear of God because of her mother's twisted view and refuses to listen to anything that has to do with religion. She cowers at the sight of a cross and often tries to keep away from holy places. She hates when people even use the "g" word.
Other than the cons, Shiloh can be very sweet and understanding. She just needs to break away from her toxic mother in order to florish and bloom as a person.
7) Write about the history of your character. History must be at least two paragraphs long. How did they grow up? Is there an incident that made them the way they are? etc. (Again, you can copy this onto your character page later!) Isaiah Godfrey fell in love with a very religious woman, Maria Blackwell when they were mere teenagers in high school. Unfortunately, the toy had gotten pregnant out of wedlock and for fear of being shunned by Maria's church, family and friends, they had the baby in secret. As soon as the little baby boy was delivered, Isaiah rushed him off to an orphanage, where he would be put up for adoption.
Heartbroken and utterly humiliated, Maria and Isaiah tried to place their heart in the hands of god in the years to follow. It was fine for a while and they were the picture-perfect newly weds for some time until Maria found out she was pregnant once again. This time, Isaiah and Maria decided to keep the child. They named her Shiloh Krishna Blackwell-Godfrey, taking on both of their names for the sake of both sides of the family.
However, Isaiah could not let go of the fact that they were forced to pass up their first child as he had always wanted a son. Feeling betrayed by his wife and god, he soon turned his back on the both of them and left his daughter behind while he moved away. Shiloh and Maria closed themselves off from the rest of the world, only leaving the house to go grocery shopping or attend church, rendering Shiloh friendless.
Maria's mental state started to detoriate with the amount of contact and glares she would get from the people at church. Being a single mother and recently divorced, she was looked down upon. Rumors continued to circulate about the woman until she became so mentally ill that her own daughter was subject to torture and pain.
Shiloh was shunned and hated by her mother for possessing the gift of magic. Maria believed that a demon had taken over her soul. Shiloh learned to hide her ability to preform magic (because it would just upset her mom) until she was of age to attend Hogwarts. With the threat of her mother, who reluctantly allowed her to go, Shiloh is very nervous to attend classes. Maria only intends for Shiloh to attend Hogwarts long enough to realize how sinful it is and come back home to her.

- A) I have a lot of other responsibilities, and although I really want to be a part of this wiki, there may be days on end I won't be able to participate in anything.
