Please Note: You can write either the first or second question in a bullet point form. However, please remember only one of them can be in that form. The other must be in full sentences and meet the required length.
1) Give a description of your character's personality. It must be at least seven sentences.
Tabitha is considered very gentle by those around her. She would describe herself as a walking contradiction. She is quiet but outgoing. She is kind but very sassy and sarcastic. She prefers being outdoors. She loves to dance and sing. She makes friends easily but only considers a few people close to her. She is a quick study and will try anything at least once. Everyone calls her Tabby.
2) Write about the history of your character. How did they grow up? Is there an incident that made them the way they are? It must be at least two paragraphs long, seven sentences each.
- Tabitha is Austrian. She was born in Salzburg, however her family moved to London when she was 10 due to her father's job.
- Her magic manifested when she was 6 years old. She broke an expensive vase and became overwhelmed. The vase was magically put back together. Her younger brother witnessed the event.
- She grew up in a loving and well-off home without much incident. Her father is a muggle and works as an officiary for the United Nations. Her mother is a squib and works as an elementary school tutor. Her mother is particularly supportive of Tabitha being a part of the wizarding world.
- She speaks English, German, and French fluently. German is her first language and she speaks English with a German accent, although it's a faint one. Her father is fluent in these languages, as well as Russian and Italian. He is the one who taught Tabitha.
- She is very close to her grandmother, who lives in Czechoslovakia. She enjoys visiting her at her home when school is out for break. While in school, she calls her grandmother at least once a week. A large concern for Tabitha is her grandmother's well-being, as she is older and living alone. It gives Tabitha a great deal of anxiety to think about and she often has to rely on friends or family to calm her down--if she thinks on it too much, she'll work herself up.
- Tabitha grew up taking ballet and, before moving to London, had auditioned for and offered a position in the Vienna State Ballet Company. She deeply regrets not being able to accept the invitation. She still trains herself in ballet, although since moving to London she has not returned to formal classes.
- Although Tabitha's family is well-off now, they weren't always. Her father had always had a substantial job, however a "family scandal" kept them paying off various large debts for awhile and kept them in pretty humble circumstances for the first 6 years of Tabitha's life. Tabitha has no idea what this scandal was, as her parents nor her grandmother will talk about it or answer any questions concerning it.
3) Write about your character's appearance. What do they look like? Are you planning on using a certain model for your character? Please include both model name and picture!
Dark hair, green eyes, fair skinned. Model: Astrid Berges-Frisbey
4) Is your character a Pure-Blood, Half-Blood or Muggle-Born? Do you have any notable magical relations? (Remember, you cannot be related to important characters from the Harry Potter Universe!) Half-blood. Her father is a muggle and her mother is a squib.
5) Does your character have any special abilities? Is he or she of a different magical race, such as Veela, Vampire, Werewolf or the like? Part or half of a magical race counts! (Remember, you cannot have a character with special abilities/of a different magical race as one of your first two characters!) No
6) What year is your character in? 3
7) The Sorting Hat has been known to take house preference into consideration. If your character could select one house they believe they are best suited for, what would it be and why?
Ravenclaw. Tabitha prioritizes learning and does things with the conscious effort to learn. Her learning branches out from just school activities and she is a believer in multiple forms of intelligence.
1) Is this your first character?
- A. This is my first character.
- B. No, this is not my first character.
2) If your answer to the previous question is B, how many characters do you have? How many of them are "exotic"? If you do have exotic characters, please list both the name and the type of exotic. Remember you are only allowed one of each type with the exception of nymphs.
