The Character's Background

1) Give a description of your character's personality. It must be at least two paragraphs long, seven sentences each.

in terms of personality, each twin took after one of their parents. while eleni takes after theo, zeno takes after vasi. his resting bitch face means that he has a unbreakable wall between the face he shows the outside world and the fact he shows to everyone else. in reality, that resting bitch face is a curse. zeno might be one to deal out harsh words and witty insults at one point in time or another. his natural intelligence could be a threat to some. but in reality, he's the softest marshmellow in the world.

he's a shining ball of floof that prefers being left alone and cuddling into his bed to watch movies. however, zeno has never been the most strong-willed of individuals. maybe it comes from years of being bossed around by eleni. maybe it's just his natural state. in any case, it doesn't take much for someone to convince him to do a thing. as long as they seem reasonable, he goes and joins in the fun. in other cases, a bit of his other father's spontaneity seems to have been inherited into him. zeno has no idea what he's doing, but he lets his intuition and other people decide for him. except eleni. he has a certain independence streak derived from growing up with her.

his natural love for books and knowledge mean that zeno is pretty well-learned. he's the type to read the textbook for fun. zeno thrives in academic settings. although he is not exactly a shy boy, zeno is certainly in his element while rattling on about how to make a potion and the history of magical greece. although he shines in those moments, zeno's charm falters in many social situations. it just takes a moment of flustered feelings and stumbling words for his cool and knowledgeable image to break.

2) Write about the history of your character. How did they grow up? Is there an incident that made them the way they are? It must be at least three paragraphs long, seven sentences each.

theofanis michelakakis and vasilius jo were supposed to be close from the start. vasilius's mother had a close relationship with theofanis's father; the same for vasilius's father and theofanis's mother. however, circumstances meant that they didn't meet until their childhood was close to ending. it was not the most agreeable of meetings. theofanis and his twin chrysanthos might've accidentally ripped vasilius' book.

they met again nearly nine years later when they realized that they were neighbors at the same apartment complex in london. the dislike never truly went away. theofanis was too arrogant for vasilius' liking, and vasilius too stuck-up for theofanis to even consider glancing at him again. as love stories like these go, that clearly didn't happen. hate turned to love eventually. they were dating within the year. several fights, a break-up, and a short engagement later, the two were married in a beautiful ceremony in greece. they soon settled into married life in england.

eleni jinhee and zeno taejoon michelakakis-jo are their first-born children. born soon after their first wedding anniversary, the new parents doted on them endlessly. the behavior did not stop once they grew older. with their combined wealth and abundance of time for them, the twins were given virtually everything they wanted as they grew up by their parents. spoiled they as they were in material things and dozens of oppurtunities to do what they wishes, the twins were also raised with class. they were taught to walk with their heads held high, but also to be friendly and nice to their peers. while vasilius and theofanis played the role of power couple out in the open, behind closed doors, vasilius and theofanis were absolute dorks and that was passed down to their children.

the twins grew up in the gated community of coral gates. the michelakakis-jo family was close to many of their fellow neighbors, but they mainly interacted with the sakellarios-willow family. malia sakellarios had been vasilius' best friend growing up, and that friendship extended to their children. while iliana was closer to eleni, zeno has a high degree of kinship with her as well. zeno was close to other children as well, but mostly preferred keeping to himself. it's not that he was a shy child - it was quite the opposite. he much preferred staying indoors and taking up other activities: such as reading, writing, and learning to play the guitar. he likes to say that while others played, he worked hard - and that's why he's so talented.

throughout this childhood, magic had a big influence for him. growing up in a magical community, constantly interacting with wizards who threw spells without a care, and reading about it - he was excited for his turn. despite all his knowledge (did you know that we had a wizard's council before the ministry of magic?), zeno himself was actually a late bloomer when it comes to magical abilities. it was during an intense game of wizard's chess that zeno finally discovered his magical abilities at the age of 10. a 22-move game that had been breaking his losing streak against eleni, and the pieces celebrated with him by floating around in the air. finally, eleni could shut up about calling him a squib.

when he got his hogwarts letter one year later, zeno was almost dizzy with excitement. he's been waiting ever since he heard of hogwarts for his chance to go. now with hogwarts fast approaching, he spends his days reading his textbooks and interacting with more of his fellow yearmates that live at coral gates.

zeno is certainly handsome. if he gets personality from vasi, then he certainly gets fashion and looks from theo. however, despite his handsome, he seems to have inherited his resting bitch face from vasi. his model is hyunjin from stray kids.

4) Is your character a Pure-Blood, Half-Blood or Muggle-Born? Do you have any notable magical relations? (Remember, you cannot be related to important characters from the Harry Potter Universe!)

3) What would people who know your character well say they're really good at?

zeno is good at being intelligent, the ones that admire him say. zeno is better at being full of himself, the ones that don't say.

4) What do they really want to avoid in their future job/career? Do they hate working in an office? Do they hate the field?

zeno is a literal child, barely eleven years old. he doesn't have any sort of expectations for his future line of work. in his mind, he's pretty content in starting hogwarts. not to mention that he'll probably think that he'd do well no matter what due to his genius.

5) Aside from family and peers, what motivates your character the most in life? What drives their passion?

what drives zeno right now is the thought of attending hogwarts. although he's been in a variety of lessons in other teachers' homes and at his own home, he's basically foaming at the mouth at the thought of attending a real school and actually learning.

6) Where does your character's weaknesses lie?

zeno's weakness is in his easily malleable personality. at long as someone makes something look good, he'll probably do it.

7) Wand cores and woods speak volumes about a person's character. What is your character's wand? Why does it answer to them?

zeno has an acacia and phoenix feather wand. acacia wands only accept the truly gifted, whuch speaks to zeno's abilities. phoenix feather is a rarer wand core, adding to his uniqueness.
