"Hi everyone, I'm Professor Moon and I'll be your Herbology teacher this year! I hope you're all ready for an exciting year, and since this is my first year of teaching I hope I don't embarrass myself too much. It might take me awhile to get the hang of things so please be patient. That aside however, my office will always be open for any needed extra help or if you have any questions! As for my behaviour policy, please try to show up on time everyday and be respectful in class. Like my said, it's my first year and I don't want to have to send any of you do the Headmaster's office. Plus I've been where you all are, and trust me detention isn't fun."

"Hello everyone, and welcome to Hogwarts! I'm Professor Moon, but honestly just call me Parker if you want, and I'll be your teacher for Herbology this year." He paused for a second to look at the notes he made on what would need to be talked about. "Sorry uh, this is my first year teaching so you'll have to forgive me for any errors I have. This is going to be a learning curve for all of us." After taking another quick glance at the notes, Parker looked back up to address the class. "Alright so we're going to start with Devil's Snare and how to take care of it... Can anyone tell me anything about it?"

Herbology. Much her style. It really wasn't. But it was better than flying and she found her favourite classes always depended on the professor who was...utterly good looking. Yeah. Herbology is much her style. "It's okay, it's our first year learning it so we can work together," she said, sweetly, totally sucking up to...Moon. How dreamy. Of course, she didn't really know anything about herbology so...actually answering the question? That was a no go.

Val made a face at Iliana's retort, before deciding to answer. She felt sort of bad for the Professor — he seemed like he was really trying, and she wanted to help him out, like Adrien was. She reached with a gloved hand into her pocket, ate a bean (they were her snacks to fuel her energy through lessons) and then said: "It's like...this really weird tendril plant that binds you if you touch it. So, just...don't touch it."

"It uses it's tendrils to wrap around a person if they get too near until it suffocates them. If you struggle against it it just makes it worse. They're usually found in dark places because they don't really like light" She supplied, Herbology was one of her favourites.

As students would file in, Parker took the time to glance at his notes and make sure he knew what to discuss. Once it looked like most people were seated he began, smiling at them warmly. "Welcome back second years, I'm the new Herbology teacher Professor Moon, but you guys can just call me Parker if it's easier. Now today we're going to start with some light revision, could anyone tell me what the Severing Charm is and how it is used in regards to Herbology?"
