Welcome to the Great Hall. This is where many Hogwarts meals are served. The Great Hall (only on the occasion), however, may be used as a "sanctuary" if any event that harms any of the students occurs. Meals are taken here, and the sorting ceremony is held here too. Every year during the Christmas holiday season, the Great Hall is decorated with many decorated pine trees and a big one behind the staff table.
"Good evening everyone! To all those returning, welcome back to another exciting hear at Hogwarts. To all of our newcomers, welcome to your first year. Should you feel like you need help or guidance, all of your teachers, Heads of house, prefects, and myself are all here to help you succeed. Just make sure to seek help when you need it." She smiled down to the students. "This year is a rather special one. We, once again, will be hosting the Triwizard tournament!! We will be joined by the students from both Beauxbatons and Durmstrang in the coming weeks. Those that wish to enter, must be at least in their sixth year and place their name in the Goblet of Fire. It well then select a male and female from each school, who will then become our champions!! The Goblet is open to those who wish to enter starting after the feast has concluded. So with that, let's let the feast begin!!"

She sat at the Hufflepuff table. She had done some reading on the Hogwarts houses and they seemed the most like minded to herself. She had the perfect manner that a Dupont should have as she ate her meal

Yumi was about to go to the Ravenclaw table when she spotted a Hufflepuff student, third year perhaps?, hunched over a sketchbook which contained a lot of designs. Curious, she had taken a seat beside him and now they were talking animatedly about each other's designs, her own sketchbook open beside his.

He wasn't sure where to sit, but the atmosphere at this table seemed good - it wasn't too boisterous like the Gryffindors, and not too sombre, like the Slytherins, so it worked a treat. He smiled in a charming sort of way as he sat himself down.

Legion wouldn't really know how to approach the foreign students, and so he remained quiet while he sat down, knowing there was a Beauxbatons student at their table, and was a little... nervous to say in the least. But he swallowed his nerves enough to say, "Uh... Hi?" He'd say to the foreign student.

Adrianna weaved through the other students and sat at the first table she could find a spot at - the slytherin table. She didn't really care who was around her and all of the new faces only caused her to care less about who these people were as she begun to tap her fingers against the table.

She'd snort, but not give away the amusement in her brown colored eyes by putting her head down just before she could see it. But alas, hearing about where the Dumstrang boy was from was rather nice to hear, anyhow. The Beaxabtion boy seemed rather chatty, while she supposed the other girl was easy dropping on them - they weren't saying much of interest to Hekate anyhow; as they were saying general facts rather than dicussing school life, which would be interesting to here anyhow.
