The Head of Slytherin's Office is located just off the Common Room and opposite of the Dormitories, only accessible by a spiral staircase that leads even further down into the bellows of Hogwarts. The office currently rests on the bottom of the lake floor so its almost always cold - really the only weapon to fight the chill in the air being the large hearth to warm its weathered bones.
Beyond great oak doors lies a bedchamber for the Head of House to occupy during her stay here and adorned with large windows that allow a view into the darkness of the Black Lake and all its little creatures, though most of the windows can be spelled to simulate sunshine and light if preferred. This room currently belongs to Nora Déonté.

This had been a better beginning of the week for Tate than previous weeks had gone. He'd only skipped one class opposed to the several he had been missing post founder's tournament. Maybe, just maybe, he was pulling his shit together and was on the rise again. One could hope at least, right? Coming from one of his classes, Tate had gotten an owl from Deonte asking to meet in her office. Maybe it was him denying any negative connotations in favour of continuing a good week, but Tate was hopeful that it would be nothing bad. As he knocked on the door, he awaited some sort of response from the other side.

Having the door open after hearing Nora call out to him, Tate first stuck his head in and smiled before stepping forth into the professor's office. "Hello Professor," he started as he moved to take a seat across the desk. "I could go for tea, thank you." He responded, figuring it'd serve as a good wake up of sorts for him.
