Welcome to Ilkley Moor Stadium, host of the 2025 British and Irish Quidditch League! Show your support for your favourite home-grown teams, attend a meet-and-greet, or spend a few galleons on memorabilia.
Rémi was the extroverted king that everyone knew and loved today. Crystal blue eyes that shined happily and a smile that was happy to be seen. He was laughing and talking to anyone that came near him. Today was one of the those various events where popular Quidditch players got to meet fans. Rémi had happily volunteered - he's always happy to meet fans of his. He wasn't one of those cringy idols that went on and on about how his fans are his number one loves, but he was always super appreciative of his support. Rémi stood around the pitch, just waiting for whichever lucky fan he got would come out.
It had taken a lot of praying, hoping, begging, and crying for Julija to get to where she is. Also known as Ilkley Moor Stadium. Also known as the home stadium for her just about favorite quidditch player's team. And she wanted to die. (Once she met Rémi, of course, else her life really never amounted to anything, despite being the proud owner of The Hmm Cafe.) Led into the stadium by a security guard, Julija was nearly shaking with excitement. She couldn't believe making one simple phone call to the BRN would lead to this. She really did hit the jackpot. Not quite decked out on full fan apparel like the other lucky winners, all Julija had to express her undying love to the team - or the iconic Mr. Letang, at any rate - was a beanie. If Rémi was in the mood, though, she'd only ask for one signature: Zlatko's birthday card. It might be months away, but this was really an opportunity she couldn't miss - she knew this would make his year. So, however much she adored the player, she'd sooner use the opportunity for her kid brother. He was more important than her own geeky needs. Always. Led to the right line, from what Julija can see, she's only two people away from meeting Rémi, and though she thought it impossible, her heart beats even faster. Fuck.
Once the fans got in, Rémi got right into it. It was natural for him, after doing this for dozens of times. He smiled, he laughed, he shook hands enthusiastically and cracked joked and tried to make the shy ones feel at ease. Rémi was totally the charming Quidditch prince that everyone knew him to be. After smiling and making a peace sign to a fan's camera, he beckoned for another fan to come forward. If his eyes lingered over Julija for a second, then he made it seem like it was something routine. In any case, Rémi went back to dealing with the next fan in line.
It'd be a lie if Julija said she hadn't noticed the way Rémi's eyes had lingered on her - after all, she wasn't one to keep her eyes off someone she'd worked very hard to meet. (She hadn't, not really, but that was not the point.) By now, Julija was next in line, and she was truthfully very anxious. She knew it'd have to be quick - however much time he wanted to dedicate to his fans, there was still a respectable number behind Julija, and she couldn't steal their thunder lest she wanted to find herself attacked walking out of the stadium. Clearing her throat, Julija shakes her body a little, trying to calm herself down. She's ok. This is ok. Everything's fine. No need to freak out. He's just a normal guy.
She'd smile at Eric. It was after the game and the fans were still pouring out of the stadium. They would be walking out into the nearby forest used for people to leave without muggle notice. She'd gone all in with a Arrows jersey and facepaint to support Elle, and they'd gotten hotdogs and nachos at the stadium for dinner. They'd be walking slowly into the woods without any real destination in mind. "...but it was a really close game which are the best kind."

He'd also decked out in facepaint and Arrows gear. He nodded in agreement. "Far more exciting than an ending you can see coming."
She'd blush a little at his wink wondering what exactly he was insinuating. "Well in keeping with the theme for the evening I would suggest a sports bar...but I honestly don't know of any magical or otherwise since that's not typically my crowd. Any suggestions?"

He considered that. "The Retro, I suppose? That's about as close as you'd get, I think."
