She went a deep red-- from both embarrassment, and anger. She spoke in a low voice... angry, and scared. "That's right. Back in Azkaban. A place good people don't have to go because we follow the law. I'm angry as all get out right now, but do you see me touching my wand? Do you see me with a knife? No. Because I know how to behave in civilized society. I told you that I could forgive you-- but that I would never forget. And I hold true to that. And you also told me you would never bother me or my family, and yet here you are, with Kimi, who I've always considered family. Some promise keeper you are. And if wanting to protect myself, and my family, makes me a spoiled rich girl, then so be it." She took a moment to collect herself. "I'm sorry Kimi. Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl. But it's clear that I shouldn't be here anymore." She walked out of the room, and there was a loud crack heard as she Apparated away.

She was too depressed to notice Jasmine's crying and thoughts kept swirling round her head. This whole thing was a disaster, not just the party but all of it. It was never going to work, she was never going to be happy. In a moment of self-loathing and impulse she got up from the sofa and left the apartment in a flood of tears, not brave enough to tell anyone that she was going to get a drink somewhere.

Tha' key'll open tha' door...and it's a pretty nice place. I know sometimes ya' just need t'ah get away from everyone...especially a cryin' baby, so jus' let me know when you're goin' so I can be 'ere wit' Jasmine. You can go alone if you'd like...or take someone else..." She'd glance at Kedric. "...that's your call. This way ya' know ya' have an escape when ya' need one." She'd smile.
