LeClerc Maison

Library

The library is one of the most fantastic rooms in the Maison. Over here, Marsye practices divination and Maurice types out his articles using an old typewriter. On the left of the room is Vivian's easel. Adelaide can usually be found knitting in here, and Bryan is often deep inside a book about defence against dark magic. Generally Charline is in here, trying to smoke without anyone noticing, but failing.

Bryan and Beau[]

Bryan Smith Ex-Hufflepuff
-Auror

 – Order of the Phoenix

He sat down in his dad's old armchair, and looked around. He'd missed these old books. He picked one up from a small table, The Tales of Beedle the Bard. He opened the old leather cover, and started reading to himself.

He flinches at the sound of the books hitting the floor, but leaps up when he hears Beaus voice. He runs over to him, kissing the top of his head and wrapping him in a tight hug. "Beau! God, I've missed you! Look how tall you are! Oh my god, I can't believer how tall you are and so handsome," he ruffles his hair, "handsome just like your dad." He laughs, "And you've gotten so old! I'm so old."

He passes his hands through his hair laughing. "I sure won't. How have you been?" he asked as he lead Beau over to the couch. "Enjoying the summer?"

"Aunt Viv, tells me you're quite the Quidditch player. I'll have to come watch you play." He pauses for a second, just looking at Beau, "You've grown up so much... wow... I'm so pround of you, son."

He nodded. "An adventure is a very fitting term," he said. "Very fitting indeed."

He laughed. "You'll certainly have that! And since you'll be so much older, you'll have to look out for her and protect her if I'm ever not around. Show her how life is done, right?"

He grinned. "That's what I wanted to hear!"

He laughed. "We haven't discussed that, yet, really. My job would probably be easier to do so with, but we'll see what happens."

He smiled. "Thanks, kid. I appreciate it." His mind flashes for a moment to the last story he wrote... and he wonders if Jade had been reunited yet with her own daughter.

"Hmm?" he asked, snapping out of his reverie. "It can be challenging at times, but I can put in a good word for ya," he said with a grin.

He smiled. "I doubt Alrick is going anywhere," he said. "But thanks for the vote of confidence."

A knowing smile spread across his face. "Y'know, if you do want to be a reporter... you might have to learn to like history. It helps with Journalism."
