People would always ask where he had come from, but in reality no one truly knew the answer to this. No one could find the answer either, after all they just knew he'd been dropped off in an alley by someone. Luckly he gad been found by someone and they brought the bundle of a boy to a nerby orphanage in the small town of Damyang, Republic of Korea.
Some would wonder why the mother so carelessly left her child in a nasty alleyway and well we'd have to turn back time to tell that tale, but this wasn't her story. It was his. As the infant grew, so did his curiousity. Curiosity of the unknown and where & who his parents were. By the age of 5 years old Liam had been adopted by a nice couple, with another child, in the city of Dunkirk, France. From Korea to France, it was a literal culture shock for the boy.
Having to learn French wasn't easy, after all he hadn't even mastered his native tongue and probably never would. For his new parents, being given a name that was technically english made things easier for the couple, he didn't have to given an easier name fo pronunce. They were greatful to the boys parents for that one at the very least.
Around the age of 7, he showed his first sign of magic. It wasn't the happiest signs, far from it. Him and his older brother where running near a cliff. That was until they both decided not to pay attention and both of them took a dive off of the side of it. Except for Liam, it wasn't anything fast on contrary. It was more of a gentle fall. Yet his brother didn't have the same fate, instead he went crashing down, breaking all of his bones a d dying on impact. This was so traumatic for Liam that he stopped speaking to anyone unless he had to. The once happy and upbeat kid became someone who was emotionally distant and unresponsive.
At the age of 10 his family uprooted and moved to York, England after his father recieved a job offer. This was also around the time he used magic for a second time unkowingly. He set a bush on fire when he was in extreme bout of anger. Which led him to get the eyes of someone else. A 'witch' in the town, finally learning about witches and wizards. It was crazy, but to him it made a little more sense. It explained more than one of the odd occurances in his life.
Yet, he didn't want to go at all. Even more so when a letter arrived drom some school named hogwarts. First off the name was ridiculous as hell, secondly this was on creepy stalker level. He never let anyone near his home and his parents were equally as creeped out. Instead they wrote a letter explaining that he wouldn't be going and would rather have them seek him a tutor. Not that they believed anything in the letter, because of course they hadn't. Yet Liam so strong about it they let him play with the idea.
With that they decided to just find him a tutor, the tutor being the woman who had told the child about the wizarding world. You'd assume she was a witch, but well that's not true. She was a squib, but she seemed to have failed to mention that when she applied for the job and also seemed to have been accepted.
She taught his the backwards of everything in the wizarding world. Even that toads were used to cure cancer and he was oblivious enough to believe it. The lies went on for two years until someone came to check on his progress and found he hadn't learned a thing. Not one thing and well they explained to his parents whoever had been teaching him really wasn't good at the job and of couse after long discussion they decided to send him off. Yes, as a first year since he had learned absolutely nothing the past few years
