Stepping out of his (luxury sports, had to flex) car, Aurele takes a sweeping glance over the street, briefly recognizing some landmarks so he'll know where he parked. He pays the meter toll and locks the car, casting a quick protection spell since he knows someone will try and break into his car while he's gone (someone always tries, after all). The reason he's in this part of Lincliff is less discreet, and he looks more focused and less playful than usual. Almost like he has somewhere important to be. He carts his fingers through his hair and quickly re-adjusts the hairband holding it back before he turns to head down the street, only to bump into someone... well, not exactly less than desirable to see, but definitely not the most pleasant face on the planet. Carlisle was cut off from his rant when he ran into someone. And not just any someone - oh no! It just had to be that asshole from the bank. Scoffing at the mere sight of him, Carlisle quickly addressed the other caller. “I’ll have to phone you back.” He uttered in displeasure. Here we go.

"I know, note the sarcasm," he pointed out, with a barely noticeable shake of his head. It honestly amused him to no end that even when he wasn't trying to, he seemed to be bothering this businessman. Unlike when he met him in the bank, he didn't let his amusement show as much as he truly felt it, wondering what would happen if he kept his expressions more... polite and less taunting. Reserved, even. He couldn't even try and mask the way his eyes seemed to be laughing at Carlisle and his response, not expecting being backed up against the wall but not entirely opposed, especially when the older looked so ticked off. Taking little to no care in the things Carlisle is saying, he wraps his hand around Carlisle's wrist, the hand that pushed him against the wall, and with the tight grip, uses it to pull Carlisle closer. "Fine," he murmurs, lips so close to Carlisle's ear he was counting the seconds before the other tried to back away. "How about you give me a name to use instead?" For the borderline sexual tone Aurele addresses him with, it's a stark contrast from the way he drops Carlisle's hand, offers him a polite smile, and slides out from under him. The thing that ties it all together is the glint in Aurele's eye that gives you the real idea of what Aurele's thinking at the moment. Maybe today, businessmen are his type.

The countless images popped up and Carlisle leaned the phone so Aurele could have a better view. "See? First one, Princess Sophia. Much more gorgeous than you." Carlisle teased before scrolling. "Next one, Soren Lee. That man is stunning and wonderful at acting. Though I hear his personality is less than superb, so you two have that in common." Honored? Yeah, that's a word for it. Unfortunately for Carlisle, the other lesson his parents made sure to drill into his head was not to be intimidated by the "powerful people", because you never know when suddenly they'll be below your feet. "Oh yeah?" He was, objectively, surprised Carlisle was still playing along with him. Although, he wasn't going to complain about it by any means, so he let Carlisle play the game anyway. "Princess Sophia is gorgeous," he agrees. "That I will not deny. Though, I will say, Soren's rumored terrible personality makes him much less attractive in my eyes." He puffs his cheeks in annoyance and throws Carlisle a jokingly accusatory look. "I'm wonderful!" he exclaims. "Nosy—really only towards interesting people to be honest—but wonderful." And he's going to get Carlisle to admit of his own accord. Maybe not today or tomorrow or next week or next month. But it's going to happen. Just you wait. Aurele has to admit he's somewhat enjoying this, and based on Carlisle's intonation, he guessed that the other was probably too. Aurele's not the intentionally cheer-you-up type, and honestly, he was detached enough to not care whether or not he was making Carlisle amused, but he can't lie to himself about the warm feeling Carlisle's joy gave him. The next picture... The next picture certainly killed the mood though. Malakhai Choi. Known better to the public as Chai Tea, and... Carlisle Selwyn's ex. Aurele reflexively lifted his head off of Carlisle's shoulder once he sensed the sudden tension and didn't tease like he usually would. He hadn't paid nearly enough attention to Malakhai as a person to know what had happened—or who the esteemed Carlisle Selwyn actually was up until well, he met him, but according to drama outlets, it had definitely been a rough breakup for the both of them.

Aurele stumbled in surprise, something he never does unless he's truly caught off guard, especially for how graceful he naturally is. Typically, adjusting to someone stopping was a piece of cake, but the way Carlisle stopped dead in his tracks and looked at him actually got him to fumble slightly. "I—" His eyes widened a little, perplexed by the statement. As fair as he was aware, he hadn't made any sort of offer, not that he remembered anyway. By the time he had even figured out anything to say, Carlisle had already turned around and was heading back. It was strange, and technically Aurele had come down this way to get something, but he supposed it could wait for... whatever this was. "It is," Aurele directed, pointing down the street at the sleek black sports car parked towards the end. It was one of his favorites, imported from Germany just for his stay in the UK. His love of cars was only evident to anyone who knew him well enough. "Can I... ask what this offer apparently is?" he added, watching Carlisle curiously, enamored by the sudden switch in mood.

Carlisle gave him a look of disbelief before sighing and doing as told. The buckle snapped in with an audible click that masked Carlisle's own tutting. Safety first, he supposed. "Yours." He demanded without much thought. It would be better that way though. Less chance he'll be spotted with Aurele. Plus he'd rather not be at the manor right now. The maids would just love to start rumors. "Assuming it's close, of course." He added, taking into account the urgency of the situation. Carlisle didn't want to overthink anything. He wanted to just not think at all for once.

He raised an eyebrow, glancing at Carlisle through his peripherals. "Alright, my place it is," he sighs, turning his attention back to the road as he started towards the apartment complex he was staying in. It was one in the morning and the stars were shining down on him. Constantin had lost his shirt somewhere and he wasn't quite sure where he'd put it. Probably left it in the girl's apartment that he left a few hours before. At least he still had his jacket. Now he could say it was just a fashion statement. However, considering he wasn't wearing any shoes either, it pretty much did look like a walk of shame. Not that Constantin ever really felt any shame nowadays. Why bother? It was such a mundane emotion. Walking through the city, he whistled a song that one might have recognised to be 'another one bites the dust' by Queen. Now they were a good band. The magical world was so adverse to the muggles back then (still are though they have improved) that they had missed out on so many good things. Like Queen. The Beatles. Constantin could go on. Not many people were out at this time of night, save for the addicts and the homeless but none bothered Constantin.

Constantin wasn't quite sure if tobacco affected his body. He doubted it. Constantin couldn't die twice. But he liked the habit.
