Lincliff City

Lincliff City is on an inhabited island northwest of Great Britain, shrouded by enchantments to protect it from the muggle world. A city built on magic that actively embraces it as part of the day-to-day lives, Lincliff has a modern touch to it that is set to appeal to the younger population of wizarding Great Britain. Housing a mall, cinema, many department stores, restaurants, parks and iconic touristic hotspots, Lincliff City is nothing short of an amazing sight. It's a step into the modern world for a population that has, for so long, held onto tradition.

Mika, apparently compared to everyone else in her friendship group, was doing nothing with her life. She'd remained the same for years-hacking on the side, social media star as her main profession. Really, she was just sampling people's make up and doing tutorials. Easy stuff that apparently drew in the big bucks. Maybe a part of her still thought herself back in Hogwarts. When she heard about Eli's kid, her instant reaction was 'oh Merlin, what are you going to do?' before realising-they're at the age that having kids is fine and they can fully support them. It wasn't teenage pregnancy. And then she realised she was older than Eli and that pushed her into an existential crisis. And then she found out Tetyana and Gabe were signed and sure to be world wide superstars. Mika then sent Aksel a quick 'are you doing anything with your life? No? Great, come out with me!' text and that was that. Sitting on a bench, she waited for the Hogwart's guidance counsellor to turn up. Eight pm (the idea of meeting Mika any time before eight was laughable) and she was dressed head to toe in designer clothes, even her phone case was designer.

From the outside, Aksel had everything together. A nice job as the guidance counsellor at Hogwarts, and a handsome boyfriend. But truthfully, Aksel wasn't the most keen on his situation. Sure teaching at Hogwarts was fun and what not, but how was he meant to help students through their issues when he was having issues of his own he couldn't figure out. Much like Mika, he was in an existential crisis where he didn't want to have to rely on Percy for the rest of his life monopoly wise, but it was becoming more and more likely that he was going to have to. Mika was someone he felt he could always be candid with, and seeing as she was in need of someone to talk he was more than willing to take her up on it. As weird as it was, in a way it was his job to just sit and listen. Given the time of night, Aksel was dressed warmly as he made his way to the bench, Mika's designer get up sticking out like a sore thumb against the park bench.

"Aksel, baby, have you ever considered tight leather pants? I feel like you'd suit them," Mika said as Aksel approached her and swung up from the bench as elegantly as one possibly can in eight inch stilettos. As she always did with every person in her social groups, she greeted Aksel by grabbing him by the collar and pulling him closer to plant her lips onto his cheek. Yeah-maybe not appropriate but Mika wasn't one to care. Nor did she care how long the imprint of her lips would last on Aksel's cheek. "How's Hogwarts? Thrown any annoying brats off the castle yet?" Mika does not condone violence. Not one bit. Let that be clear. "Any of them made you fall asleep? Come on-lets walk. It's getting warmer now-ish. Not as cold as it use to be."

"As a matter of fact yes," Aksel responded in greeting as he allowed his friend to greet him as she normally would. At this point he was used to it and there was no avoiding it, not that he would want to in the first place. With that out of the way however, the pair begun their walk. "Hogwarts is Hogwarts, another year has passed that I've successfully avoided telling a student that they're overreacting about a minor problem in their life. Which hey, if I can another year then I'll be happy and consider myself a good counsellor. What about you? Anything new and exciting in the glamorous world of Mika?"

Mika listened before humming. "Why don't you just give them the slap of reality and say they're overreacting? That's what I would do," she suggested, "they're so entitled they might need someone to bring them down to reality." She, also, was an entitled teenager but she wore it better than any one of them did. "Maybe this year you'll get a raise and I've been cruising. Snitcher tried to cancel me, I don't know if you heard. They accused me of being too mean to the up and coming star. They hadn't realised Tetyana has a twin sister so I was saved."

"You know, I totally would. But the thing is I just don't think I could give them such a strong wake up call as you could. Maybe if I ever decide to take you up on your advice I can bring you in as back up." He responded, a grin on his face indicating he was mostly messing with her. "Of course I saw, how could I not? I was hanging out with Percy and Eli when it happened and Eli was getting a massive kick out of it."

"A few choice words would be just the trick," she said with a nod. "You and Percy still going on strong, right?" She asked, "I've been hearing nothing through the grapevine." Titti was the grapevine. But also Caera. The twins were very open mouthed when it came to when people in the group were fighting with one another. But Aksel didn't need to know her source. "Of course Eli did. Did he tell Caera? Apparently she keeps on forgetting her snitcher password so she's never aware of whats happening."

Aksel nodded his head, remembering how happy he was in the place in his relationship he was at. Percy made him truly happy, but he didn't need to announce that, Mika already knew. "We've been good. I thank whatever god is out there that I got the seemingly less stressful brother. Don't get me wrong, I love Eli like a brother at this point, but I don't think I could do the on and off again type sh*t he and Alex went through in school." Aksel paused for a second, knowing all too well just how many times Caera has forgotten her password. Being around Percy meant being around Eli, and being around Eli meant he was filled in on all of Caera's mishaps in life. "I swear, one of these days we just need to tattoo her password to her forearm or something. But you know Eli was making fun of her for it, he couldn't miss the opportunity."
