Hogwarts

Homework and Finals

This is the last week for finals and homework, so make sure you finish them so the Professors can grade them. All Professors need to post their grades next week. The Final's schedule is posted in all the common rooms, so please make sure you check there. Teacher's, if you haven't posted your finals yet, please do so ASAP and let Bond_em7 know on his talk page so he can link your final into the schedule.

Quidditch

The next matches (Gryffindor VS Slytherin and Hufflepuff VS Ravenclaw will start ASAP, so make sure you post on them if you haven't yet!

Dueling Club

The new dueling club is up and running! Feel free to check it out! Now that there is a club, dueling outside of supervision is against Hogwarts rules.

New Order of the Phoenix

The Owls are going out to specific individual chars, inviting them, on a 'one time only' basis, to decide if they want to participate. This version of the Order anticipates high risk and serious losses. No couples will be contemplated. This Order is about restoring order - whatever the price.

Minister of Magic

The Ministerial Election has been called!! Check it out here: here - and Congratz to our newest (or should I say returning ;) ) Minister - Estella Tyrrell! We're excited to see her lead the nation in the upcoming months! :)

Auror Dark Wizard Files

The Auror's Office is trying to put together a list of Dark Wizards which are still at large. Colin came up with the idea, and I (Bond) added the Category:Dark Wizards to all those characters involved with a Villianous Group. If you would like your character added to this list, feel free to add them on the page under the correct heading, and alphabetically. Also feel free to update any your character's info there. If you have an Auror character (Any Country) feel free to add any notes you have about that character in the 'Auror Info' Section. If you don't want your Dark Wizard added to this page, that's fine. They may be added at a later date when they are encountered by an auror, or commit a crime. Please remember that this info is what the Auror's know...not all the info on any particular character, so don't add anything that is a secret or hasn't been seen outside the group yet. It's meant to supliment the character's user pages, not contain all their info. Have fun!

Expansion Characters

Hi everyone! As we move into our next Expansion please remember that the characters you create for the expansion aren't "Normal Characters". As with the last expansion these characters are used heavily during the expansion and then ether abandoned-or if you've come to love them continued usage with them. But your not going to be forced to use them or anything after the expansion is over-and you shouldn't feel that pressure.

Word/talk bubble

To stop us having to find the 'History' etc. when Archiving, can everyone please make sure that EVERY char word bubble has a timestamp? User bubbles can be without, but every RP should be able to be immediately dated, when deciding if it should go to the Archives.

Sectumsempra

Due to recent excessive use, this spell is being reclassified to the Dark Spell List, meaning a char has to show how they learnt it and from whom. It is no longer generally available. Its use, for whatever reason, by a Hogwarts student is grounds for a zero-tolerance immediate expulsion, although obviously the Headmaster retains the right to consider mitigating circumstances.

Metamorphmagi Freeze

Effective immediately, I'm afraid there needs to be a block on new characters having the Metamorphmagus ability, as we once again have a ludicrous number of students (and adults) with this 'once or twice in a generation' ability. If possible, please add the relevant information to the List of current active Metamorphmagi. Thanks, Jisk
