Minerva Publishing House Lincliff City Office

Minerva Publishing House is among the main publishing houses and distributors in the Magical United Kingdom. With titles under their belt such as 'The Daily Prophet' and 'Witch Weekly,' Minerva Publishing House has quickly become renowned for the work it produces. After receiving rights to the publications of 'The Daily Prophet' and 'Witch Weekly,' Minerva Publishing House expanded its influence to the other wizarding hub of Great Britain; Lincliff City. Whilst this office is not as large as the main headquarters in London, nor is it as extravagant, it serves as an essential hub within the magical city and as a key location to reach places such as Hogwarts and Hogsmeade.

It had been an awfully long time since Keaton had saw Cadan, so long that he had begun to think that maybe Cadan just wasn't interested in him. Of course he knew Cadan was incredibly immersed in his job, so by the off chance that Cadan had just got so caught up in journalism that he forgot to pursue anything, Keaton decided he'd pay Keaton a visit at work. After taking an elevator to the correct floor and making his way to Cadan's office, Keaton knocked on the open door and waited for Cadan to acknowledge him.

Cadan really did feel bad about ghosting on Keaton a few times; he was attracted to the other but work had to come first, especially with news of a shadow ministry being set up. He had sent a few owls just to make sure the other didn't think he didn't care, but Cadan knew as well as anyone that you had to hear it to believe it. Having stayed late yet again to finish an article, he looked up and blinked a few times, clearly not expecting Keaton to be there. "Keaton?" He said, head tilting slightly, "What're you doing here?"

Seeing that Cadan was so engrossed in his work was no surprise to Keaton, he expected it truthfully. But nonetheless, Keaton wanted to talk to him and the stubborn side of him said he couldn't leave till he did. "Hey Cadan," he started off meekly. "Sorry to show up unannounced, I just figured I'd stop by while I was nearby. See how you were doing?"

Hearing his reasoning made Cadan relax a little; lately more and more people had been coming forward talking ill against the current Ministry, mainly victims, and the last thing Cadan wanted was for Keaton to be among them. He knew that fear was a bad sign for his career; any emotions of attachment towards Keaton, whilst greatly welcomed, meant that he would be drawn more to the redhead rather than work. He wouldn't complain at the time but he knew he'd regret it come later. "It's fine," Cadan said, smiling a little as he reclined back in his chair, nodding towards one of the chairs in front of his desk for Keaton to sit on, "I've been doing good - work's been hectic, but good. You?"

Was he being a bit straightforward, undoubtably yes. But Keaton tended to take that approach when it came to flirting.
